". . . Yeah. I know." he sighs.
". . . Yeah. I know." he sighs.
"Well…are you going to do something?" She asked chuckling a bit
"Not right now, got shot remember?" he laughs softly.
"And if you would let me clean your wounds-"
"I will be fine, love. It will be okay until tommorrow." Jo cuts her off.
No- it won't just let me help you."
"You've helped me enough over the years, sweetheart. I'm sure it will be fine until tomorrow. Just take a break from worrying for one night, okay?"
"If your so sure there fine then let me look at them. I always worry about everything because im logical and you aren't."
"Worrying isn't logical, but whatever you say." he shrugs.
He unwraps the bandages, letting them fall to the floor.
The skin around the entry wounds looks red and puckered, but not infected.
"See? They're fine."
The look on the woman's face turned to anger as her eyes fell on the bullet holes and she growled "who shot you?"
The bullet holes - six, in total - are hidden once more as Jo rewraps them.
"It doesn't matter."
She scrunched her nose and balled her fists "who did it."
She's adorable.
"What will you do if I tell you?"
"They will be the first person I've ever killed, and anyone else who hurts you. "
(i thought she's killed before tho???)
(No she hasn't not to my knowledge she has severely wounded people but hasn't exactly killed them she was never really in the heat of battle she was a torturer)
(ah okay good to know)
(She's very aggressive lol a tiny dangerous weapon. )
Jo sighs.
"No. Killing is not the same as torture, Nikki. Torture, sure, it weighs on you. But you don't have to live with the burden of knowing that there is physical blood on your hands, that you have ended a life. That person's existance becomes a part of you, slowly eating away at you. It's a disease, Nikki. It's a cancer that slowly kills you. I don't want that for you. You can afford to live with yourself, you've never directly killed someone. Or killed someone ever. Me. . . my whole life has been death and blood. There is a reason why I am the way I am, and it isn't just my base nature." he murmurs.
Nikki stood keeping the same face as before "i don't care id kill a thousand people if any of them hurt you." She snarled
Jo looks a bit scared.
"Nicole. . ." he whispers.
"You are the only person I have left Jo now if you think I'm just going to let anyone hurt you, your wrong."
Jo takes a breath.
"Use my full name every once in a while. . ." he murmurs in reply.
Nikki takes a breath and turns back toward the wall and sits down before taking her anger out on the baseboards "why does it matter what i call you?"
Jo shakes his head.
"Forget I asked. . ." he mutters, standing up and going into his room, closing and locking the door, leaving Nikki to the baseboards.
