Damian was almost asleep by the time the credits started rolling. With his shoes kicked off on the floor somewhere and his head nestled in Rowan’s shoulder, both arms around his torso, Damian had practically draped himself over the man like a sleeping cat.

Rowan smiled softly down at Damian, and turned everything off. He picked Damian up, cradling the smaller man in his arms as he started walking towards his bedroom. He himself wasn't tired, too keyed up from his own thoughts and from the Reaper and from everything that had happened that day, but he figured he would tuck Damian into the bed and then wait until he was tired. He didn't want to take any supplements or pills to sleep. When he did, it made him far too susceptible to the Reaper.

“Mmmm…” Damian mumbled sleepily, nuzzling into his boyfriend a little bit more as he was picked up. He said an incoherent sentence about how the movie was good and wrapped his arms tighter around the male, not caring one bit where Rowan was taking him. All he cared about was if Rowan was there or not. Today had been a rough day for him and he expended a lot of magic, and therefore energy, after the outburst he’d had when he found Bailey. Now, that power drainage was finally showing on him, and he was too sleepy to care.

Rowan smiled fondly as he carried Damian up to his bedroom, setting the smaller man on the bed and tucking him in, gently brushing a hand through Damian's hair. "Sleep well." He murmured, leaning down to kiss Damian's cheek.

Damian, in his half asleep, half delirious state, did not want Rowan going too far away too fast. He needed a real kiss goodnight. So when he felt those soft lips brush against his cheek, he immediately turned his head to capture them with his lips whilst slinging an arm around Rowan to keep him close. “Don’t leave yet…” Damian mumbled against Rowan’s lips, a sleepy smile growing on his face.

Rowan blinked, sinking down onto the bed beside Damian. "…alright." he replied softly, kissing him gently and wrapping his arms around Damian again. "I was just going to go for a walk, get energy out."

Damian sunk into that kiss and those arms, a lazy smile growing on his face. That smile turned into a pout though as he mumbled, “Can you…” Damian pushed away that sentence before he finished it, instead whispering, “Can you wake me up in the morning like this?” Damian didn’t want to wake up alone. He wanted that handsome face hovering over him, kissing his lips and holding him close. So maybe Damian was a bit clingy, it was just… It’s nothing.

"Yeah, of course. I'll come back to bed later." He ran a hand through Damian's hair. "I promise. I just need some time, alright?" He mustered up a small smile. He wasn't used to not having a winddown time after the Reaper. Wasn't used to having to go straight from the Reaper to someone important to him.

Damian smiled happily at that response and mumbled a incoherent good night as sleep slowly claimed him, right there. Exhaustion got the better of him, but he couldn’t have fallen asleep any happier.

Rowan had gone for a walk and then eventually had gone back to Damian, lying down beside the other male and holding him close as he fell asleep. Today had been a hard day for both of them, he knew, and he wanted to make sure that they got enough sleep. He was still asleep when, in the morning, the sun began to filter through the curtains drawn across his windows.

Damian woke up slowly, still groggy as he shifted in bed. As soon as he noticed the warm body beside him, he cracked an eye open. When he confirmed it was indeed his handsome boyfriend, he closed his eyes and instinctively moved a little more to wrap his limbs around him—clinging to Rowan like a sleepy koala. With a mind murky from sleep, Damian didn’t really realize where he was, only that he was with his boyfriend, and that was all that mattered.

Rowan shifted a little bit when Damian moved, but didn't quite awaken, still sleeping peacefully on the bed. He looked younger when he was asleep, the anxiety that always hovered in his eyes gone, his face smoothed out with sleep.

Damian cracked his eyes open to admire Rowan’s handsome features. He was beautiful when he was asleep. It was hard to believe he was a cold-blooded killer. “I suppose you’re not the only one who’s cold-blooded,” Damian mused softly to himself, rolling over slightly so he could rest his chin on the male’s chest while lifting an arm to trace his jawline. His fingers couldn’t stop themselves from venturing over his lips, admiring how smooth they were with his hands.

Rowan's mouth parted a little when Damian's fingers ran over his lips, and he shifted, letting out a quiet, sleepy sound as he started to wake up. He wasn't awake yet, though, his eyes still closed and his mind still enveloped in sleep.

So cute. Damian smiled, unable to stop himself from shifting once again to press a soft kiss to those oh so perfect kiss. “Wake up, my handsome prince charming. I wanna kiss more,” Damian mumbled childishly against Rowan’s lips, a playful grin on his face.

Rowan startled awake at that, eyes flying open and hands coming up, sitting up so fast that his forehead bashed against Damian's. He let out a faint sound of pain, rubbing his forehead and blinking hard at Damian. "Unngh." was the only sound he made, still not fully awake yet.

“Ow!” Damian yelped, jerking backwards and clutching his forehead. He looked over at Rowan, a pout on his face, and muttered softly, “Are you okay?” Damian supposed he shouldn’t have done that, and even though it hurt, he wanted to make sure he hadn’t startled Rowan too badly. With his boyfriend’s magic… that could’ve gone a lot worse than just a head bump.

Rowan blinked at him again, and nodded. "Mmph. I'm fine. Sorry about that. You startled me." he said quietly, taking a deep breath. Luckily, the Reaper hadn't taken control, so he was fine. Well, except for a bump on his skull, anyways.

Damian rubbing his now aching head, sitting back with a huff. “Now you owe me extra kisses,” He grumbled with a bigger pout, though in truth he was still being playful. He wasn’t the kind of person to expect something from his boyfriend, but he definitely was the type of person to whine and beg for it.

Rowan laughed a little, reaching out to bring Damian in for a rather sloppy, sleepy kiss. "There." he said with a smile, holding Damian close with a happy smile on his face. "Sorry for hurting you."
