Pax leaned into his brothers side and shook his head. "I've been a burden towards him. He's exhausted all the time, working and taking care of me." He sighed and looked at the other before looking at King. "But… I'm glad I have a brother… He means everything to me…. I just wish I could see him happy again."
King felt like Pax was asking him to make Colby happy again. If Pax knew the relationship the two had had up until this point, he would most likely hate King. So King wasn't going to tell Pax that he would most likely never be able to do that, "Your brother does deserve happiness."
Pax nods before looking at King. "He does." He chuckles quietly before looking at Colby. "I think I'm going to head to bed myself." He mutters softly, standing and stretching weakly. He sighed softly and looked down at his hands. "Goodnight, King." He says softly.
"Goodnight Pax," King probably was just going to stay with a sleeping Colby considering he still had no idea where his room was. He had a little smile on and ran a hand through his hair once more and looked down at Colby. He let out a soft sigh, "What are you going through?"
(Alright. To next morning or later on?)
(Uhhhh, morning sounds good. Unless you have a plan for later on?)
(We can do morning. Could you start please?)
(Sure!)
King woke up in a slight amount of pain. He couldn't figure out why but remembered he had fallen asleep on the couch in Void's… Colby's house. Next to Colby. He should probably get up, or he would if he wasn't in a bit of a sticky spot with Colby leaning on him.
Colby slept rather peacefully, although it be in an awkward position. He groans softly when he wakes up and rubs the back of his head, yawning softly. "Morning…" He mutters softly, glancing at King. He starts when he realizes that he's on top of the other male and scrambles to get off. "My apologies." He chuckles nervously.
King let out a deep laugh, “You’re fine. Mornin’.”
He was finally able to sit up and stretch relieving some of his earlier pain. He was still half asleep if King was going to be honest, “It just sorta happened.”
Colby blushed a little at the wound of Kings morning voice. Gosh it was so- Nope! Bad Colby! Very bad! He cleared his throat and smiled a tiny bit. "Uhm.. would you be interested in breakfast?" He asks nervously, a little smile on his lips.
“Sure,” King responded running a hand through his hair. He yawned a little and realized that was probably the best sleep he had had in a while. And it was with another man laying on him. Yeah no that didn’t look good.
Colby nods shyly before hurrying into the kitchen. He worked quietly, his heart racing. He can't be fratenizing with the enemy! He'd only get hurt that way. He wasn't paying attention so he yelled in pain when the searing hot pan met the skin on his wrist.
King was sitting on the couch slowly coming back to his senses when he heard the yelp from the kitchen. He stood up and woke the rest of the way up before rushing to where Colby is. He looked at Colby, “What happened?”
Colby hurried over to the sink, hissing in pain. He ran his wrist under cold water, his breathing shaky. "Oh yeah! I'm… I'm fine…" He mutters quietly, looking at the other. "Just burned my wrist a little when I was making breakfast."
King thought for a moment before pulling a ruby out from his pocket. He always kept a few on him, even when wearing a strangers clothes He walked over to where Colby was at the sink, "Oh, I can help if you'll let me."
Colby's hands were shaking as he stared at the burn. It brought back so many painful memories. "It's okay… I'm okay." He states softly before looking at King. "If you want to help you can…"
"Okay. This might tingle a little," King carefully put the ruby on the burn and willed it to take the heat away. It didn't completely heal the skin, but it often took away a good portion of the pain. Once he was done he pulled the now glowing ruby away from Colby's skin and put it back in his pocket, "Does that feel better?"
Colby watched nervously. He knew first thing what those crystals and gems could do. But it felt.nice when he felt the pain begin to drift away. "Thank you…" He muttered softly, his eyes turning towards the other.
"Your welcome," King muttered back. He knew that the energy from that very burn would most likely be used against the very man it had just taken the pain away from. He looked at Colby, "It won't heal the burn, the skin will still have to do that. The crystal just takes away the heat from the burn."
Colby nods, sighing as he gazed at the burn. "Not the first time…" He mumbles before smiling a little at King. "Well. I think that I'm good to go… I want to finish breakfast before it burns." he laughs quietly before getting back to work. He hovers a small glass of fruits to his sides.
King gave him a little laugh and a grin. He crossed his arms and watched Colby work yawning slightly before shaking his head. His hand threaded through his hair, "That's a good idea."
He sighed softly as he worked, finishing the breakfast before offering a plate to King. "Here you go." He says softly, his eyes gentle. "I'm going to bring Pax his food." He says quietly.
