1 or 2 could work. I could do either.
How about 1?
1 sounds good.
Okie dokie. Once I get home I'll put up a starter.
Ok
Alright. //
"Come on now." Colby gently scrubs off his little hero's hands. "Go on. It's okay." He mutters, "It was self defense. You did so well." Colby assures as he scrubs of Crystalline's hands off with warm water and a bar of soap. "Come on." His voice was soothing, soft. "You've got it, it's okay."
King's entire body was shaking. He had never let anyone die before when he was fighting, and now. And now he had just killed a man. His blood was being washed off a King's hand by none other than the very villain he fought on an almost daily basis. His voice was shaky and he couldn't quite form his normally rough handed sentences, "I didn't- I shouldn't- He didn't need to die."
"Shh, it's okay." He mutters softly, his eyes gentle. "You did so well." He mutters, gently. "It's okay." He mutters as he cleans off the last of the blood. "There… All clean." He smiled at the other. "Come on now, let's go get you cleaned up, fed and get you some food." He mutters, taking his wrists gently.
"I," King didn't think he could eat his stomach was still churning at the memory of the murder. The guy had been coming at him probably mad because King had destroyed some building, it wasn't that uncommon, except this guy had been highly aggressive and had already pulled out a pistol to most likely 'take care' of King. King had gone to release one of his yellow electric crystals only for everything to go wrong. And. And. God he couldn't even think about it without trying to throw up. He swallowed trying to keep everything down, "I don't know. Don't know if I can eat."
"You're safe now." He mutters. He never thought he would be saying that to the other, his enemy. But he was helping the other. "I know, it's okay.." He mutters gently. "You did so well." He mutters, his eyes soft. "It was self defense. You were justified." He helped the other to his room, pulling out a shirt and sweatpants. "Here." He gently helped the other onto the bed. "How about water?" He asks softly as he sets the other down.
"Water. I can handle that. Maybe," King responded as he realized he was sitting on a bed. The last half-hour had been a bit of a blur not even really remembering how he ended up here. He didn't think it was justified, no homicide was ever justified. Self-defense or not. he saw the sweatpants and didn't know if he should change. Void may figure out his identity, did he really care at the moment? Maybe not, but he could probably change out of his bloody clothes and into the sweatpants while keeping on a mask.
"I'll go get your water. You change into something else. Please try and not get blood on the carpet." He hums, his eyes soft. "I'll be back in a moment." He walks out of the room, shutting the door behind him. He walks to the kitchen, grabbing some.iced water and then grabbing a piece of bread. He nods before picking the two things up and carrying them to the bedroom. *I have water. And some bread if you can handle it. I'll be in the other room if you need me."
Once Void had left King began to change wanting to get out of the blood-soaked clothes as soon as possible. He wouldn't be able to wear this costume again. What he hadn't expected was for Void to come back so quickly, so he was still shirtless when Void entered, but he couldn't care less. His head was other places, "Okay. Um, thank you."
Colby glances over the male, before smiling a little. "Of course. I'd… Stay low if I were you… Just for a little." He places the food down before exiting the room. He walked two doors down and entered quietly. "Pax? I'm home." He states softly. He removed his mask and walks to his brothers side. "I'm here."
King understood where Void was coming from and that was going to be his course of action too. He walked over and closed the door behind Void not comfortable just easily changing in the house of his enemy as his senses started to realign with the mess that was his head. He finished getting changed into the clothes provided they were a tad large, but he didn't care at the moment. He killed a man, no care or food or instinct could override the immense amount of guilt he had.
He sighed as he walked over the queensized bed, seeing a young teenage boy- his brother- resting peacefully. Colby sat down at his bedside, running a hand through Pax's hair. He was so warm, so sick. He sighed and looked down. Pax groaned softly, nuzzling into Colby's hand. Colby smiled a little, his eyes soft.
King looked down at his hands to see them still shaking. For a moment he could have sworn there was blood on them but it was gone just as quickly as it appeared. He took a deep breath and tried to drink some of the water Void had provided. It was difficult with his nerves shot, but at least he didn’t break the glass.
After a few moments Colby stood, sighing quietly. I'm doing this for him… It was a reminder he gave himself often. It was something that kept him going even if he didn't enjoy hurting others. But he had to. He leaves the room, shutting the door quietly and sighing. He rests his forehead on the door, feeling everything shatter in him.
King felt his hands start to shake violently again. He made the mistake of just trying to figure out what had happened that made that man become so aggressive and if it maybe was possible he could get out of the charges on self defense. That only lead to his mind going back and replaying the grizzly death. Trying his best to put the glass down before he dropped it on the ground.
Colby pulled back from the door before walking to the door that King was behind. "Crystalline? Are you in there? I'm coming in." He warns before slowly opening the door. He looks at the other and sighed softly. "Oh, darling. You're shaking." He mutters softly, his eyes concerned.
King looked up having successfully not broken the glass at where Void was. He wasn’t just shaking small droplets of tears were running down his cheeks. He didn’t have a response to Void other than a quiet, “No shit.”
Colby sighed softly and gently wiped at then small tears. "Hush now, it's okay now." He mutters, letting the other cry. "Let the tears out." He mutters. "Let yourself cry. It's okay." He whispered, his thumb trailing along his cheeks.
King didn't know why Void was being nice. They were supposed to be enemies, yet here he was helping King. Comforting. It didn't make any sense to him. He continued to let the tears cry though desperately tried to stop them. He couldn't be wallowing in guilt, "How? How is it okay?"
Colby was not Void in his home. He was just… Colby. A small smile grew on his lips as he dried his cheeks. "I know this is hard. Trust me, I know how painful it is to lose people. To fail a mission. But my sweet hero, what would happen if the world lost you? Yes. A life was lost today. But my dear, sweet, kind hero. Must I remind you that it was self defense. I know the guilt is awful, the realization. But…" He sighed. "We cannot tempt the fates. That was the choice the man made. In a world of survival, it is kill or be killed." He looked pained as he said that. Colby remembered. He remembered the first and last time he had killed someone. Taking a life was a horrendous thing. It was evil. All Colby could see when he killed that man… All he could see was his little brother. Even as a villain in the public's eye, he refused to let someone die.
