She smacked his arm playfully, "Nope, you're sleeping on the bed." She looked around as they reached the wooded area, a confused but curious look on her face.
She smacked his arm playfully, "Nope, you're sleeping on the bed." She looked around as they reached the wooded area, a confused but curious look on her face.
He sighed softly and kissed her temple "I'm unworthy of you, my love." He led her further into the forest until they came to a small clearing overlooking the town
"You're unworthy? Love, I'm the unworthy one." She replied, leaning against him as she looked over the town with a face of amazement and a bright smile.
He shook his head but knew better than to argue with his wife. Instead he wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his head on her shoulder, over looking the town
Her smile grew and she motioned to the ground, "Want to sit down?" She asked, leaning her head on top of his.
He nodded, pulling her down with him into his lap as he sat on the grass. "Should be starting anytime soon. He muttered softly
"What should be starting?" She looked to the sky above the town, absentmindedly reaching for his hand with one of hers.
"You'll see," he said against her neck, intertwining their fingers together. He glanced up as he saw little lights appear bellow, slowly illuminating the streets and buildings in a soft hazy glow
She nodded and sighed in content, looking down to the town with a growing smile, "This place is amazing, thank you for bringing me here," She said softly.
He kissed the base of her neck "you're welcome. I'm glad you like it." He glanced around and saw the lights slowly rise to the sky. On by one, people let go of their lanterns, releasing to the heavens
When the lights started rising she gasped slightly, “Wow….this is beautiful…”
He nodded "Might want to take pictures…." He suggested with a grin, looking up at the lanterns, floating around
As soon as he said it she grabbed her camera, fiddling with it for a moment before aiming it towards the lanterns and starting to snap pictures, a smile still on her face.
He nuzzled into her hair and glanced at the pictures she was taking "your getting good with the camera." He said, playing with a strand of her hair
"Thank you," She replied happily, her picture taking stopping for a moment so she could kiss his cheek before taking more pictures.
His eyes softened and he smiled. Loki stood and headed to the cliff, peering over the edge. She shoved his hands in his pocket and watched the skies turn from black to gold in a matter of seconds
Avalin stayed where she was to take pictures, laying down on her back to try to get better pictures. The thought to get Loki's silhouette in the picture came to mind and that's what she did, took pictures with him in them along with the lanterns.
He glanced back at her and smiled softly "Really love?" He asked, walking over and sitting behind her
She laughed lightly, "Yup, really." she leaned her head on his shoulder and smiled, going through her pictures she took.
He breathed a laugh. " Half of those are being deleted when you're not looking, I do hope you know that." He waved a hand around the ground next to him, conjuring two lanterns, similar to those floating overhead. He handed one over to Avalin
"They absolutely are not, all of them are staying." She replied, tucking the camera away as she took the lantern gingerly and her smile grew.
"Oh, gods help me," he muttered with a grin. he took his own and lifted it, "ready."
She nodded and lifted it into the air, only holding onto the bottom of the lantern for a moment before gently pushing it into the air.
He did the same. he gently pushed it up to the sky, watching it as it followed the lantern Avalin had released
“This is amazing,” She said softly, yawning, “But now I’m ready for a nap.” Her eyes followed their lanterns as they floated into the sky.
