She slipped off the bed and headed to the bathroom, closing the door behind herself before choosing what to wear. Eventually she settled on a shirt with a pink to white gradient, some black sandals, and a pair of black pants that were not quite form fitting, but were close.
Loki had changed by the time Avalin got out and was waiting by the window, He wore a dark green shirt and black pants. He ran a through his black hair, not bothering to comb his hair through
She smiled at him but didn't say anything, silently walking over to him and wrapping him in a hug from behind.
He jumped a bit "gods love, warn me next time." he turned in her grasp and pulled her close, leaning against the wall, "I see you're starting to adopt a color scheme." he said, noting her Clothing
She laughed lightly and shrugged, "I didn't think I could sneak up on you, and I think I am as well." She looked at hr shirt and shrugged again, "i was going to wear a yellow top, but I decided against it."
"And why's that?" he asked with a tilt of his head, brushing a light hand along her cheek. "not enough pizzazz?"
"I just wasn't in the mood for yellow, maybe tomorrow." She smiled and leaned against his hand, bringing her arms up to loop around his neck.
"ah, but yellow is such a beautiful color on you, my dear. The color of royalty." He smiled softly and kissed her forehead "They say that pink is the color of innocence and purity of a child. Now I don't know if that applies to you."
She felt herself blush slightly and she shrugged, "I think it applies to me, I am like a child when I'm in new places, like Earth here."
"true, very much like a child." he nodded with a thoughtful smile "Ready to eat yet? or are we staying here?"
Her stomach growled right as she was about to answer and she laughed, "I guess that's your answer, lead the way love." She glanced at the door and smiled.
He laughed and nodded, taking her hand his and leading her to the door "Strange had to go back to New York for an emergency. I think he forgot about a date with his girlfriend or something and the world was going to end if he didn't make it." he explained as they made his way down the stairs
She laughed again and gladly let him lead the way to wherever they were going, "I don't blame him for leaving then, missing a date can definitely count as a emergency."
"It most definitely does. It's worse than the worlds ending." He led her down the hall and a flight of stairs. Once they reached the first floor, they turned a corner to where a room opened up to a breakfast buffet "Choose what you like." He said, handing her a plate and getting in line
She took the plate and got in line behind him, looking at all the different options with a look of curiosity, "There's so many options, what do you think I should try?"
There was everything from bread rolls to soups and from lobster to a multitude of fish "I'm trying one of everything." He said with laugh "Don't know how I'll manage but oh well."
Avalin laughed and started filling her plate with whatever caught her eye, staying away from the fish she didn't recognise, "You're skinny enough, I think you'll be able to try one of everything."
He nodded "probably." He filled his plate with a soup bowl and some small stuffed peppers. He popped a roll into his mouth and headed to an empty table
She followed him once she filled her plate, sitting down across from him with a smile, "Thanks, again for bringing me to Earth."
He set his own plate down and put he roll on the plate "your welcome, I hope it's Everything you expected and more."
She nodded quickly, "It's absolutely amazing, I love it."
He smiled and took her hand in his "good. Now let's see what half of this is." He grabbed a fork and dug into his food
A bright smile appeared on her face and she followed suit, grabbing a fork and starting on her food, "Is there anything you're nervous to try?" She asked between bites.
He glanced around at the array of food "the meat in the red sauce kind of worries me." he admitted pointing at the dish with his fork
"It does look sort of suspicious," She joked, chuckling lightly and continue to dig into the food.
