She nodded and smiled, "Is there a traditional color for women to wear?" Her eyes closed and she started humming softly as they swayed.
She nodded and smiled, "Is there a traditional color for women to wear?" Her eyes closed and she started humming softly as they swayed.
"I don't think so. Just as long as it's bright and colorful for the festival I think." He glanced down at her and smiled "You're not leaving my sights tonight."
"Are you worried I'm going to wander off?" She asked, tracing patterns over his back with her fingers and resting her head on his chest.
""I'm not taking any more chances with you, what happened in Asgard was close enough." He muttered, a slight shiver running down his spine from her touch
"I figured, and I promise I won't leave without telling you where I'm going to go," She replied, "And that's only going to be if I want to take a picture."
He sighed, knowing she wanted to explore the world as much as he did. "Fine, but I'm.putting a tracking spell on you just to make sure nothing happens."
She pouted but nodded; "Alright then, you'll take it off if I ask you too though, right?" The thought of a tracking device didn't phase her at all.
“Maybe.” Was all he said, kissing her temple “i dont do this to anny you love, i just don’t want what happened before tonecer happen agin.”
“I know, I’m used to being tracked, it just bothers me a little.” She reaches up and gave him a kiss on the cheek before stepping away from him, looking around the room again.
He leaned into her and smiled softly "Ready to go soon?" he asked, sitting on the edge of the bed while glancing around as well
She nodded and smiled lightly, "Yup, I'm ready whenever you are ready to go."
He nodded and stood, offering her his arm "shall we my queen?" He opened the door to let her go through
Avalin's smile grew and she looped her arm with his, going through the door with a thankful nod, "You still haven't told me where we're going."
He closed the door behind them and shook his head "and you won't know until we get there." He looked at her with a smile "you're trying to pry it out of me, it's not going to work."
“I bet I can, you’ll tell me eventually if I pester you long enough,” She replied, bumping him with her shoulder as they started walking.
He looked at her with loving doubt "it took me years to admit to my brother where the tesaract was, and then I still lied. It's going to take a lot more than you pestering me to figure out where we're going. Plus we'll be there soon so it's not like it's going to be surprise for long."
“You wouldn’t lie to me though, I’m your wife.” She replied, leaning against him and looking up at him with puppy eyes, “Can you please tell me? It might earn you a kiss if you do.”
"no of course not, to you I'd never lie. But I'm also not going to spoil a surprise." He told her, glancing down and caressing her cheek
"You're no fun love. Live a little wild, spoil the secret. "She gave him puppy eyes for a little longer before dropping them, trying to decide on a new tactic to get him to tell her where they were going.
"Don't worry my dear, the time will come." He smiled and knocked on Strange's hotel room door
She sighed in defeat and waited for Strange to come to the door, thinking maybe she could get him to spill where they were going to go.
Strange opened the door, wearing a dark red tunic and white pants. "Red too huh? Maybe it's a thing here." He said, closing the door behind him "you look amazing Avalin." He complimented politly, walking g alongside Loki to the lobby "you haven't told her yet, right?"
"Thank you, and no, he hasn't told me anything," She replied, answering the question for Loki as well while she walked with them to the lobby.
Strange laughed and nodded "good, let's keep it that way for now." Loki nodded and smiled, opening the door for them. The streets were filled with people and festive decorations, filling more and more as dawn fell. Strange pulled Loki back a bit, letting Avalin walk ahead a bit "You can't keep her on a leash forever. I know you're trying to protect her. Believe me, I get that, but she's going to want the freedom to explore." He said gently. Loki nodded reluctantly and waved his hand, lifting the tracking spell from her.
Avalin didn't notice the other two trailing and continued on, a smile growing on her face as she looked around at the people and decorations for whatever they were celebrating.
