"It's not just your world…" Rainbow agreed in a mutter, resting one hand on her cheek with a scowl, staring into the water. A couple seconds later she shook her head and pushed her anger away, trying to stay calm.

Mallory giggled and glanced at Jake before talking back to Anna. 'Yeah but he's still cute.' She smirked a bit to see her reaction.

she shrugged a bit 'you do you Mal' she smiled as they walked

The young man at the spring had not heard Rainbow and the figure vanished inside of the boy. He stood and stretched a bit before spotting the woman "Oh hello there didn't see you there."

Mal smiled back and booped her nose. 'Sure thing.' She laughed a bit again and turned to look at Jake.

She looked to him and dipped her hair in the water before responding. "Hi…" She forced out with a grimace, refusing proper eye contact. It seems her attempt to calm herself didn't really work.

"sorry miss I'll let you have some time to yourself."

"Jake she looks kinda-"

"Shut up Jeff." Jake interrupted 'jeff' as he starts to walk off to the Haven door.

Rainbow took a deep breath and responded "No, it's alright. I just overheard what you said about how people suck… and I couldn't agree more." Confessing this seemed to help her a little.
But she was polite enough to not ask about whatever paranormal/magical being he was talking to, despite being interested.

He stopped and turned back "Yeah even other humans can figure that out." Jake chuckled a bit

"Besides you Jakie" Jeff responded through Jake

Jake just rolled his eyes at that responce

"So, is this a common thing humans talk about?" She asked, making a mental note that humans were intelligent enough to realize the lack of empathy that some people have. Tiger is going to love this Rainbow thought, disguising her smile to look like a smirk.

Jake sighs a bit "Jeff are you gonna keep interrupting me?"

"Hm, interesting." Rainbow mumbled, "And who's this 'Jeff' character?" She asked, glancing at her hands before combing her fingers through her hair.

“He’s my best friend…a demon that I share my body with.” Jake explained

“Kicked straight outta hell…thanks mum.” The demon chuckled “Just cause I didn’t kill for pleasure…family was a rare pair of extremists” Jeff spoke up

She, surprisingly, didn't react all that much, only quipping "Neat."
"Rare pair of extremists, you say?" She raised an eyebrow, "That's nothing." Rainbow chuckled, crossing her legs.

"I like this one." Jeff commented

"You must be new here. it's nice to meet you. What's your name?" Jake asked, his eyes glowed a lamp shade of yellow instead of his ash grey as he looked her over.
