Apollo flinched, looking at her oddly. "What? These are the ones I made though… there's plenty over there?" He stated in a confused tone.

(OH, I thought you meant the last cookie in general~)
"I'm just teasing you." She grinned at him.
(Oof, aha)
"Oh, alright." Apollo laughed weakly, eating the cookie. "You scared me for a second."
"It's Halloween, that's my job!" She nudged him playfully.
"Mmmm… that doesn't seem like a good job." Apollo huffed, popping the last bit of his cookie in his mouth.
"It's everyone's job to scare everybody else on Halloween."
"But I don't like that. And you wonder why Halloween isn't my favorite holiday." Apollo laughed, brushing any crumbs off. "Well, what to do now..?"
"I dunno. I'm sure Mira's got some other stuff set up somewhere. I think I saw a pumpkin-carving table."
"I'm down to do whatever. Well- within my moral standards." He stated, offering her an arm.
"Mine too." She took it.
Apollo snickered, leading them both towards the pumpkin carving. He smiled gently as he looked over to her. "Mm, you still wanna do this?"
"As long as I don't get any pumpkin goop on my suit, sure."
"Well, then you might wanna put an apron on. Just in case." Apollo hummed, running a hand through his hair.
"I don't know where Mira's aprons are," Ayala whispered, looking for Mira; even though she was on tiptoe (which made almost no difference), she had no luck. "Oh well. I'll be fine. I'm very neat."
"How neat can you be with a pumpkin?" Apollo laughed, sitting down at the table. "Mm, well anyways." He hummed, picking a knife up.
"Trust me," Ayala said smoothly, sitting down next to him and grabbing a pumpkin. "Do you want to do one together, or do you want to do two separate ones?"
"I don't really care. But if we share, I'm not doing the guts by myself." Apollo stated simply, resting his chin on his palm.
"I'll throw the guts all over that bow of yours," Ayala said, poking the bow playfully. "Nah, I'm just kidding. Here, let's do one together, but we each do opposite sides. So it has two faces. How's that?"
He stuck his tongue out at her, a goofy smile on his lips. "That's fine with me." Apollo hummed, getting up and walking around to the other side of the table. "Alright, who's cutting it open?"
"You are. I'll do the guts. Mira might have put out some gloves." She handed him a knife and drew a Sharpie circle around the top of the pumpkin. "There."
Apollo nodded once again, starting to cut the top off. He kept a serious look on his face to avoid cutting himself by laughing. When he pulled the top off, he looked up at her. "Here."
"All right, Jack, time for your lobotomy." She grinned and began pulling long, stringy, orange pulp out of the inside of the pumpkin.
Apollo sat back, watching her with a slightly disgusted look, but a lopsided smile stayed on his lips. "That's so gross."
She shrugged and plopped a pile of orange guts into a nearby bucket. "I grew up doing this."
"That's fine, but it's still gross. I've never been able to get over the smell." He admitted, still staying back some.
