Jeremiah giggled, he never minded it. Boxer scoffed, clearly not expecting the response. Just like most middle schoolers, he craved attention. This didn't give him much attention so he left. Jeremiah stayed just for a second to say something. "Good night Atlas and Rowan, sleep well!" He then left too.
"Night, Miah. Love you." Rowan yawned and settled back down in Atlas's arms. "Boxer'll get over it." He snickered. "Just you wait, he'll be just like us when he's older. Maybe he'll even have a boyfriend~"
"Yeah, he probably will be. I've always been pretty affectionate. The strange thing would be if I wasn't all lovey-dovey. If I'm not either something is very wrong or you got my doppelganger." Atlas giggle softly, resting his head back to the bed as well.
"Mm. I hope you don't have a doppelganger. I like having the one and only Atlas." Rowan smiled and kissed Atlas softly. "I'm definitely more clingy than you, though."
Atlas kissed Rowan back with a smile. "Mmhm, you definitely are. And that's just one of the reasons why I love you so much. But no matter how much I love you, I'm tired again so I think we should sleep."
Rowan nodded and closed his eyes, resting his head on top of Atlas's. "I love you too, Atlas. G'night, love…" He yawned a bit and fell silent.
"Night." Atlas whisper, barely audible as he too fell silent. Only a few minutes later he fell asleep, still tightly wrapped around Rowan.
Rowan fell asleep soon after, tangling his limbs up with Atlas's as he got more comfortable.
And just as quickly as he fell asleep, Atlas woke up to his alarm. It had felt like Friday the day before, but it had actually been Thursday. With and overdramatic groan, he attempted to roll over and snooze the alarm. But it was both dark inside his room and he was still very tangled with Rowan.
Rowan whined softly as the alarm went off, clearly annoyed about being woken. "Mmmmm… Atlas…" He whined, trying to cling more tightly to Atlas.
"Shut up, alarm…" Atlas whispered, still trying to reach the alarm. After a few more seconds, he did end up loosening his arm from the tangle of limbs and he snoozed the alarm. "Five more minutes then we have to get ready for school, K?" He whispered just loud enough for Rowan to hear.
"Mmkay…" Rowan clung tighter to Atlas and yawned. He tucked his head under the other's chin, sighing softly. "Just like… smack me when we gotta wake up or something…"
Atlas hummed in response as he returned his arm around Rowan. He relaxed once again, not needing to deal with the alarm, at least not for another few minutes. Boxer was already up, that was obvious by all the noise he was making in the room next to them. He always plays music in the morning to wake himself up more. Of course, it also did a great job of waking up the rest of the house.
"Boxer! Shut up!" Rowan banged one fist on the wall. "Some of us are still trying to sleep, dammit!" He groaned and buried his face in Atlas's chest, trying to muffle the noise.
"You'll get used to it. Even if that's after a few years." Atlas giggled quietly and kissed Rowan's forehead. No matter how much Rowan's outburst had surprised boxer, he didn't stop the music, instead, he turned it up. To this, Atlas simply sighed.
"Ugh… I'm gonna steal whatever he's playing that fucking music on and I'll hide it." Rowan groaned again and held tightly to Atlas. "So inconsiderate…"
"Oh you do not want to do that. Once he finds it, he'll put it in here for at least a week and play heavy metal or something. I've hidden it before and the third time I did, he kept it in my room for a month. Every time I hid it again or put it in his room, it was right back on my bedside table the next morning. He's a sneaky little shit." Atlas explained in a tired voice.
"I'll fucking break it, then. Then he can't." Rowan huffed indignantly and ran his fingers through his hair. "I don't wanna deal with it and I'm far less patient than you, darling…"
Atlas smiled softly. "How 'bout I talk to him later. If he still does it that go ahead and break it. Don't tell him I gave you permission." He giggled just as the alarm went off once again. A sigh escaped his lips as he rolled over once again, this time turning off the alarm. "Wow those 5 minutes sure did a lot…" He said in a sarcastic manner. "But we gotta get ready, love. I'd rather not slap you so let's get going."
"Mmkay…" Rowan sighed and reluctantly sat up to stretch. "Alright, alright, I'll go change… see you soon, love." He dragged himself out of bed and grabbed some clothes from his bags. Then he went into the bathroom to change.
Atlas watched Rowan leave his room, sitting up and staring at the wall for a few seconds. He then closed his bedroom door and changed as well. After taking longer to change than he should have, he opened his curtains then the door.
Rowan came out of the bathroom and tossed his old clothes into his back. "Alright. Let's go grab some food and then get going. Gotta go to school."
"Yup. I'll be down in just a second, grab whatever." Atlas said turning and going over to his backpack. Jeremiah went past the doorway soon followed by Boxer. They both took a while to eat so they were always the first ones eating so they didn't miss the bus.
"Alright." Rowan headed downstairs and grabbed himself a frozen waffle. He didn't care enough to heat it up, so he just started eating it cold.
The two younger boys were eating cereal at the counter. Atlas was gathering a few things and shoving them in his backpack. He was downstairs a few minutes later. Seeing the frozen waffle in Rowan's hands he giggled. "You enjoying that waffle-flavored rock?"
