"Hmm," he tilted his head as he looked around, tongue sticking out slightly in thought. "There's a puppy over there." He pointed at a group of clouds over to the right.

“I can kind of see it,” Bridge admitted, giving up and leaning back.
Wolf shrugged, still looking up. "I mostly just look up to escape reality," he also admitted, biting his lip.
Bridge blinked. Oh. He did the pretty thing again. “That makes sense,” He said.
"Does it?" he asked, tilting his head. "Most people say they don't get it because I'm still looking at a part of reality."
“Yes. The sky and here are two totally different worlds,” He said innocently, running a hand through his white hair.
"Hmm," he hummed, then looked over at Bridge. "Y'know, I've never seen someone with white hair before. It's really unique."
“You - um…” He paused, glancing up at Wolf in surprise. “Y-you think it’s unique?”
"Yeah," Wolf said, nodding with a small smile. "And unique is good in my book."
"Oh." Bridge said softly, locking his eyes on Wolf's, although not without a small blush. "Thank…thank you."
Wolf shifted just a bit closer, his eyes softening at the sight of Bridge's blush. "I'm probably more drawn to unique than boring, if I'm being honest."
"Thank you," He mumbled, still not breaking his gaze. "Me…me too."
Wolf just hummed in answer, tilting his head slightly.
"Do you…do you think it's okay to go inside now?" He asked, looking around. It was getting kind of cold up here, if he was being honest.
Wolf got up and looked around. "Uhhhh, yeah. I think we're safe to get down now."
"Okay." Bridge stood, grabbed Wolf's hand with a little blush, and started walking towards the rooftop door just a couple yards away from them.
Wolf chuckled at Bridge's blush and led him to the edge. "You gonna be good on the way down, or do you want me to help?" he asked.
"Um…I think I need help," He admitted quietly, looking away for a couple moments.
"It's okay," Wolf said. He let go of Bridge so that he could jump onto the dumpster, then turned back around to face the other boy. "Alright, I'll catch you." He offered a lopsided smile. "Promise."
"Are you sure?" Bridge asked nervously, looking down. From where he was standing, it was a long way.
"I promised, didn't I?" Wolf said, arching a brow.
He pressed his lips together and nodded. He had never jumped from a roof before. It was scary. He finally took a deep breath and jumped.
Wolf easily caught him. "There you go," he said softly, keeping a secure hold on him so he didn't freak out. "You're all good."
"Thank you," He mumbled, releasing the breath and breathing easier. He didn't want Wolf to let go now that he was holding him, but he also knew they had to get down.
Wolf let his hold linger before eventually letting go. "Okay, now let's see if that motel is open," he said quietly, his eyes darting around almost shyly before he jumped off of the dumpster.
