Skylar’s tea finished, so she took it carefully and walked to her couch. Curling up around her mug, she stared down at the steaming drink and mulled over her thoughts.
It would explain some things, like why he was always coming back injured….
He yawned widely. He was feeling particularly tired today… he idly wondered why.
It was probably from the major headache he had last night. It kept him up half the night.
It would also explain why he’s always wet. I hardly ever see him dry…
Skylar let her thoughts drift through her head as she sipped in her tea.it burned her tongue a bit, but she didn’t notice because of how distracted she was by her own thoughts.
Revil relaxed into his couch and yawned widely again. He felt much better today. Thank goodness. The water had soaked him through, but to ease his headaches temporarily is so worth it.
Skylar took a big sip of her tea. Too big…
She dropped her cup with a hiss, but it froze in the air as she stuck her hand out. Grabbing it quickly, she let her powers in it go and held it with both hands.
He started awake with a cry of pain. His head had given an angry throb. He hadn't gotten enough water. He sat up slowly, waving in his spot as he grasped at his head with his hands.
The tea was warm and soothing, so it was making her sleepy. She took the final sip and set the mug down on the table beside the couch and laid down sideways. Her eyes drifted shut, and she slowly drifted off.
He squeezed his eyes shut and rose from his couch. “I need water… water…” He opened his eyes and spotted his sink.
Skylar rolled off the couch a few minutes later with an “Oof!” How had she managed to do that? Did she really move that much in her sleep?
He stumbled across his apartment to his sink. Instead of logically turning it on like a smart person, he ripped the nozzle out of the sink, sending water flying up into the air. As it fell onto his shoulders and hair, his headache melted away.
“He can’t be Rush. It would be ridiculous! He’s too nice to be Rush!” Skylar suddenly exclaimed, standing to her feet.
Revil sat on the floor with a faint groan, his eyes falling shut. His cat joined him.
“What are you talking about?” Elizabeth muttered as she walked out of her bedroom rubbing her eyes.
Rixi meowed up at him. He set a hand on her back with a deep sigh.
“Oh. Nothing. It’s nothing. Go back to sleep,” Skylar said, waving her hand at her friend.
Elizabeth nodded and hummed, turning around to walk back to her room.
Rixi meowed for him and nuzzled into his hand happily. He smiled happily.
(Should one of them visit the other sometime?)
(But… Can you start?
I mean, I can if you really want, but…)
(Oh yeah I guess. Should she visit him tonight?)
(Kk
So… are you sure you don’t wanna start? It’d be kinda awkward if I did.)
(Well, when I said that, I was thinking you’d have Revil go to Sky’s, but I can start if you really want…)
(Oh. Okay, do you mind if I skip a couple days?)
