Connor shook his head. "Now I'm afraid," he admitted, looking at her skeptically.
Connor shook his head. "Now I'm afraid," he admitted, looking at her skeptically.
"Why? I wasn't suggesting that you jumped off a cliff."
"But you were certainly suggesting something, yeah?"
"Can you guess what I was suggesting?" Raven smiled.
"You…" He pointed to her. "Me…" He pointed to himself, then flapped his hands.
"And how to you suggest we do that?" Raven asked, knowing what the answer should be.
"Babe, you have wings…"
"I know, I was just joking." Raven stood up. "So…do you want to fly?"
"Does LeBron James play basketball?" he asked with a wide grin.
Raven looked awkward. She didn't know the answer. "Uh…"
Connor looked apologetic. "He does, babe…"
Raven smiled and then held out her hand. "Take my hand."
Connor reached out and entwined their fingers.
Raven pulled him close to her. "Ready?"
Connor took a deep breath. "Sure."
Raven spread her wings, looked up to the sky and took off, Connor to her side.
He squeezed her hand tightly, trying not to act as terrified as he felt.
"Don't worry," Raven said, sensing Connor's fear. "I've got you. I won't let you go."
"I know," Connor replied, giving her a weak smile.
Raven returned Connor's smile with a kiss.
He grinned and kissed her back happily.
Raven started to spin, holding Connor close.
Connor pressed against her, letting her do her thing.
"Flying used to be my only escape," Raven said.
"And my magic was mine," he replied absentmindedly.
