"We're not so different," Raven smiled. "Maybe that's why we're so drawn to each other."
"We're not so different," Raven smiled. "Maybe that's why we're so drawn to each other."
"Similars attract," he agreed with a wink.
"I thought the saying was opposites attract?" Raven laughed, nearing a building.
"Exactly, but we're not opposites, now are we?"
"Last time I checked, you are not of the female denomination."
"If you're going to be like that, then no, I'm not. But you said yourself that maybe we're not so different."
"But I didn't mean we were the same. There's still many differences between the two of us."
He smirked and kissed her lightly. "I don't think that there are that many differences…"
"I can think of the vast majority. Want me to list them?" Raven asked playfully, holding up her hand as if to count them off.
(hey I started a new rp, it's a cutesy romance one
That's also it's name
And considering part of it I think you'd enjoy it?)
(Okie, I'll check it out!)
"No, I'll pass on that," he replied with a sly grin on his lips.
Raven returned his grin with her own as she set them back down on Connor's roof.
Connor's eyes were alight and his hair was windblown, adding to the Dauntless-like appearance. "That was awesome!"
Raven smiled before landing on the top of the roof, balancing on it.
"My girlfriend has wings," he sang with a wide grin on his face.
Raven was suddenly struck by nightmares. The first made her lose her footing. She fell down the side of the roof and grabbed onto the gutter. The second made her lose her grip. She started to plummet but her wings caught her quickly. The third rendered her wings immovable, making her start to plummet to her death.
Conner quickly reacted, teleporting beneath her mid-air to catch her and teleporting into his living room. Once they rematerialized in the room, he fell on the couch and gasped, breathing deeply for a couple seconds.
Raven took short breaths, stabilising herself against the wall. Her heart raced and her palms were clammy.
Even in his… pain, was the most connectable word for it, Conner stood up and hurried over to her, wrapping her gently in his arms. "Shhh, shhh, you're safe. You're okay. I'm not going to let anyone hurt you, okay?"
Raven leaned into Connor's chest, breath slowing but but still shaky. She grabbed Connor's hand and held it tightly.
He squeezed her hand. "I'm not going to let anyone hurt you," he repeated, kissing her hair gently.
A single tear fell down Raven's cheek. "I'm sorry," She whispered.
"For what?" he asked, leaning back to look at her. He wiped her tear away.
"For everything," Raven replied. "I've brought so much on you."
"Hey," he said softly, taking her chin in his fingers. "Listen to me right now. We've been over this. I would give anything for you, Raven, you're my girl. Okay?" He winked and smiled, hoping to pass it on to her.
Raven couldn't smile. Her chin quivered as tears rolled down her cheeks.
