"Self-aware,' Raven pushed. "I couldn't solve an equation if it meant my life."
"Self-aware,' Raven pushed. "I couldn't solve an equation if it meant my life."
"Fine!" Conner held up his hands.
Raven burst into a fit of laughter, seeing Connor's reaction.
He grinned, absolutely delighted that he could make her laugh. "If you're self-aware, then what am I in the marriage?"
"You're the overly-humourous one."
"Good to know. I'll plan my vows accordingly." He grinned.
Raven smiled widely, her sadness from earlier forgotten.
"'I vow to always annoy you as much as I can with my lame jokes and snarky wit…'" he pretended his vows.
"And I always promise to destroy you in an argument with logic and brains."
"Now we kiss," he replied and pulled her close to kiss her passionately.
Raven kissed Connor deeply, then her hands found their way down to Connor's waist. In a split second, she pushed her fingers into his side.
"Mmm!" He broke away. "Something wrong, love?"
"No. I just like to do that."
"Ah," he sighed and brought her close. "God, I love you so much, Raven…"
"If you didn't, we wouldn't be getting married."
"That's true," he replied, kissing her nose softly.
Raven smiled happily, letting off a small laugh.
"I love your laugh," he murmured.
"No, it's not. It's a laugh."
(Wait, what?)
(she's basically saying a laugh can't be cute)
"Yes it is, because it's yours and it's utterly adorable."
"A laugh is just using your vocal chords and diaphragm to make a noise to express amusement. How is that adorable?"
"Because it is."
"I'll take your word for it," Raven smiled.
