He held Gabe's hand happily.
He held Gabe's hand happily.
Gabe hummed a tone as the two walked, leading Alex down the road.
Alex walked beside him quietly.
Gabe kept a happy smile the entire time, even as signs of civilization continued to disappear slowly.
He stuck close to Gabe.
Gabe grinned, kissing Alex's cheek once more.
Alex kissed Gabe's cheek back, smiling lightly.
Gabe leaned into the kiss, nuzzling against Alex for a moment.
Alex smiled at him a little bit.
Gabe smiled in turn, hugging Alex before starting off again.
"Okay, okay, no more hug breaks," the man said with a chuckle. "We want to get to our land before sunset."
Alex smiled and laughed a little. "Where are we going to sleep?" He asked slowly.
"We'll set up camp," Gabe said. "Find some shelter, start a fire, settle down. We'll get to building a house tomorrow."
"Alright." He said quietly. "We don't need a big house, do we?"
"No, course not. Just enough to keep us warm, and sheltered. And give us some privacy, too." Gabe smiled softly.
He nodded a little bit, smiling up at Gabe.
"This is going to be interesting…" Gabe smiled some, looking down the road and to their future.
Alex nodded in agreement.
Gabe put his hand in his pocket, the other one still in Alex's hold.
"But it'll all work out in the end."
Alex smiled faintly. "I hope so."
"I know so. We'll make it happen." Gabe looked to Alex, grinning.
He nuzzled Gabe's cheek.
Gabe hummed, leaning into Alex's touch some.
He kissed Gabe's cheek softly.
Gabe smiled, turning to catch Alex's lips a moment.
He smiled into the kiss happily.
