Gabe took a deep breath.
"I… I'm sorry for snapping," he said quietly.
Gabe took a deep breath.
"I… I'm sorry for snapping," he said quietly.
"It's okay." He whispered.
"No, I-I know that, that I shouldn't…"
He shrugged a little bit.
Gabe put his head in his hands.
"What… What now?"
"I…I don't know." He said softly.
Gabe sighed softly.
"Okay then…"
He leaned against the wall, shaking a little.
Gabe rubbed at his eyes.
"I'm sorry," he said softly.
"It's okay." he whispered.
"N-no, it's not. I- I can never hug you again, or kiss you, o-or anything." Gabe leaned his head back.
Alex sniffled, unsure what to do.
Gabe closed his eyes and took a deep breath to calm down again.
Alex wanted to see Gabe again. He wanted to be able to curl up in Gabe's arms and cry. But…but Gabe was a ghost now.
Gabe looked down at his hands. Could he even touch Alex now? Or would he just pass right through him? It sent shivers down Gabe's spine.
Maybe Gabe would be able to touch him, but…maybe not.
"Alex?" Gabe called out softly after a few minutes of silence.
"Yeah?" he replied, voice cracking and sniffly.
"I…" Gabe trailed off. Could he bring himself to ask?
He leaned his head on the wall.
"Nothing," Gabe finally said softly.
Alex nodded slightly. "Okay."
Gabe rubbed at his eyes.
"Do you think we'll ever be able to see each other again?" He asked sadly.
"I…" He shuddered faintly. "I d-don't know…"
"If you can't ever handle it, I won't try to force you," Gabe promised gently.
