(Resh ily platonically)
(Aw)
The woman stares at Resh for a moment. “You’re from another world? And you talked to one of the Elders?”
The soldier huffs at the woman. “Forget that, which king did you get into an argument with? The midget?” They lean in, interested in his answer.
(wheeze)
(I had to)
Resh shakes his head. “No, he was pretty tall- only shorter than me by an inch or two. I forget his name, though…” He narrows his eyes and looks down, zoning out a bit.
The soldier almost laughs at that. “Tseth? What did you do to piss him off?”
The wolf looks around for a moment before walking over to the closed door. They paw at the doorknob, but don’t succeed in opening it.
(Resh: wwweeeelllllllllll)
(wheezing)
Resh looks back up at the soldier. “Well- He introduced himself as the King of the Dark Dragons and I may have called him delusional because that’s not really a thing where I’m from.” He speaks very quickly, and smiles awkwardly and shrugs when he finishes. He looks over at the wolf and tilts his head. “You want out?”
(Everyone: well that sounds like a lot to unpack moving on)
(LMAO)
(apple bottom jeans)
(Oh shit)
The wolf looks at Resh and huffs.
The soldier stares at Resh for a second. “…Right.” They looks over at the wolf and stand up. “We should go and find your friends.” Before they move to the door, they bow to the woman. “I’ll have to repay you sometime.”
The woman merely waves them off. “Don’t bother. May Megabird be with you in your travels.” The last part seems more addressed to Resh.
Resh sighs and stands up, wincing as he gets to his feet. He curses and mumbles to himself. “Fuck- leg’s acting up again-“ He shakes his head and walks to the door, although his limp is a bit more noticeable now.
(Oh no)
(He’s fine)
(Kind of)
(boots with the fur)
(screeching)
The soldier tilts their head at Resh, concerned. They don’t say anything though, just open the door to let the wolf out. They hold the door open for Resh, waiting for him.
Resh watches the wolf go out, then walks out himself, mumbling a thanks to the soldier. He growls and glares at his leg, trying to keep his weight off of it the best he can. Ugh. Not a great time for this to happen.
The soldier closes the door once he exits, following him back onto the road. They look around a bit. Back on the watch.
The wolf watches Resh, tilting their head at him. It almost looks concerned as well.
( the whole club was looking at her )
