(Anyway)
Morning rises over the snowy mountains a few hours after Resh falls asleep. It’s still freezing outside, but the sun heats things up ever so slightly.
Teth is the first to wake up, Tsadi waking up soon after. Teth looks over at Resh, who’s still fast asleep. Wow, he got some actual sleep for once- Teth stands up and stretches, fixing her hair a little. I don’t want to wake him up, he barely gets any sleep.
Tsadi stands up after Teth, undoing his braid and trying to comb his hair with his hands. He quickly throws it up in a ponytail, then glances at Resh. “Huh. Look who’s sleeping for once.”
Resh stirs and opens his eyes, looking around. He mumbles a “Well, hi-“ at Tsadi, then rubs his eyes and stands up.
(Tsadi You Idiot)
(💀)
(“Lets let him sleep” “or,”)
Sunrise is almost over, only a pale yellow that fades into blue sky. There’s few clouds in the sky compared to the day before.
Teth glares at Tsadi, and he just shrugs. Resh blinks a few times, trying to fully wake up. “…Well, let’s get moving, I guess.”
Teth looks up at him. “Where to?”
Resh tilts his head. “Somewhere? I don’t know. Let’s just hope we don’t run into Cyrus again.” Resh and Teth start heading out of the cave, with Tsadi following a few seconds later.
(Sorry Resh but we have ✨other plans✨)
(Hehehe)
Going back down the mountain would lead back to the abandoned village, and potentially Cyrus. Without any bad weather, it’s easy to see the top of the mountain. Not much farther up, surprisingly.
Resh looks around. “Well, the only way to go is up, I guess.” He starts walking up the mountain, the other two following after him.
After a short while of walking, they stumble across large paw prints in the snow. They seem to also be leading up the path they’re on to the top.
Resh looks down at the paw prints, tilting his head. “Interesting. I wonder what made those… hopefully not something hostile.”
(Resh sir, I’m not sure yet)
(Too bad /j)
They reach the top of the mountain. From there, they can see the divide between the forest and the snowy mountains. In one direction, an endless expanse of trees. In the other, a snowy mountainous landscape.
At the top of the mountain itself though, the snow cover is… lumpy. There’s about five lumps in the snow, covered by it. A few of them are smaller than the others.
(Hmm)
(dog)
(Floof :o)
Resh looks around, then notices the lumps in the snow. “What the…” He crouches down next to one of the lumps, questioning whether he wants to poke it or not.
Teth tilts her head. “I’m not sure you want to touch it, there could we something under there.”
The lump stirs for a moment when Resh crouches, before a head pops out of the snow. It looks almost like a wolf. It stares at Resh curiously, tilting its head, before standing up and shaking the rest of the snow off.
(Floonf,,,,)
Resh blink a few times, staring at the wolf-thing. “Oh. Hey there, little thing.” It’s not very little, though-
The wolf circles around Resh, sniffing him curiously. It stares at him for a few seconds before running over to Teth and Tsadi.
Teth looks at the wolf and holds her hand out towards it. “Well, hi-“
Resh stands up, smiling a little at the wolf. “At least it’s friendly.” I think.
The wolf sniffs Teth’s hand, before looking back and running to one of the other smaller lumps. It starts digging through the snow, before another wolf emerges from the snow. It looks at the first one, tackling it to the ground.
(Aw)
Resh chuckles at the two wolves. They definitely gave him a good dose of serotonin.
Tsadi rolls his eyes at the wolves. “I don’t understand why you guys like these things so much.”
Teth glares at Tsadi. “Oh, hush.”
(Tsadi, I am going to make you suffer with floof)
One of the wolves looks over at Tsadi, flicking it’s ear. Before he knows it, he’s tackled by the wolf into the snow. It circles around him, triumphant-looking.
