Resh looks around the cave, and Teth huffs at him. “Why are you so goddamn fast-”
Resh looks down at Teth. “Well, you caught up. I see that as a win.” Teth just rolls her eyes.

(I’m incredibly suspicious of this cave and I don’t know why)
(Me wondering if anything should be in this cave or not)
(Oh)
(hagrid voice I shouldn’t have said that, I should not have said that-)
(SKDJHFJFKD)
Their voices echo throughout the cave, the only sound other than the howling winds from outside. It seems to be fairly deep, extending into pitch-black darkness.
(I still don’t trust you)
Resh walks a bit deeper into the cave, then leans against the wall, crossing his arms. “Well, today was fun. We got transported to a new world, I talked to a deity, we nearly got skewered by an entitled psychopath, and now we’re trapped in a snowstorm.” His tone is very monotonous.
Teth sighs and shakes her head. “Just be grateful we didn’t get skewered. And that we found shelter.”
(The power of narration is getting to my head you should not trust me)
In the distance, a howling noise sounds from some sort of creature. The sky has gone dark, signaling night.
(Damn you)
(hey it’s not in the cave or near the cave I go camping and hear coyotes yelling that doesn’t mean I leave my tent like damn guess I gotta camp somewhere else there’s coyotes)
Resh sighs, then sits down on the ground. Teth sits down next to him, and Tsadi sits down nearby.
Teth leans her head back against the wall. “…Well, I might as well try to get some sleep.” She wraps her cloak around herself as a makeshift blanket, then closes her eyes.
Resh glances at her, then looks at Tsadi, who also looks like he’s trying to sleep. Eh, I wasn’t going to get sleep anyway. Guess I’ll keep watch.
(creacher noises don’t usually mean good things with you)
(or maybe I’m the problem with creacher noises I don’t remember)
(u h h h yes)
The snowstorm stops somewhere in the middle of the night, leaving a clear night sky filled with stars. Just outside the cave entrance is about a foot of fresh snow. It’s peacefully silent.
Resh stares out the cave entrance, the side of his head resting against the wall. Teth and Tsadi are both fast asleep by now, and Resh is getting a little tired. God, I haven’t slept in a while. He yawns and shakes his head, pushing his hair out of his face, then continues staring outside. The three of them emit a soft, peaceful glow in the cave.
(Resh sleep nothings gonna hurt you)
(I swear on my life)
Another hour passes, and nothing happens. A faint glow starts to rise over the horizon, but it would still be a while until it’s officially day.
(I don’t trust youuuuuu)
(Please let the mans sleep)
(Pfft)
(Ok fine)
Resh glances around. Well, nothing’s happened all night… wouldn’t hurt to get some sleep. He closes his eyes and quickly falls asleep. He stays completely still, the only sign that he’s alive is the slow rise and fall of his chest. (And the fact he’s still glowing but shush)
