(Hey y’all I edited my character sheets if anyone cares)
(haha thanks chaos chat Tseth)
(He says you’re welcome darling)
(NAHHHH)
(Tell me he wouldn’t I dare you)
(Fair enough)
(PANDORAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA)
(i am to tired and hot to actually write a proper response…so uh just skip me)
(U sure? We can wait a little longer if you want-)
(Like a sentence for both POVs even? Feels kinda weird skipping, but if Ame's ok with it-)
(100% do not want you guys having to wait another day or two because of me)
(Alright, if you say so- I’ll get my response up soon)
Resh nodded an acknowledgment to Cadastern, giving her a small grin in return, then glared at Tseth. “Really? And what’s wrong with that name? At least I’m not named Tsethlekai. I bet it’s a joy trying to spell that.” Resh looked at Nathaniel and lowered his hood, his piercing orange eyes staring right into Nathaniel’s. “See? That wasn’t so hard, was it?” He smiled insincerely at Nathaniel, almost as a threat. He stood up to his full height of 6’10, looking around. “Anyway, I agree with Alex. We should try to get out of here soon.” He held out a hand to Juni, offering to help her stand up.
Juni returned Cadastern’s smile, grateful that not everyone here was aggressive. She glanced at Naveil as he teased Nathaniel, and narrowed her eyes. He’s not gonna be fun to deal with. Neither will the other one… if Resh doesn’t start an argument with Tseth— Her thoughts were interrupted by Resh’s response to Tseth. She sighed and shook her head. I spoke too soon. She looked up at Resh as he offered his hand and took it, pulling herself to her feet. She folded her wings neatly behind her and looked at everyone else, catching Jax’s eye for a moment. She gave him a sympathetic look, trying to look friendly.
(Not me who’s been typing this in notes since Livs responded)
(Ok then- will get typing.)
Naveil was on his feet in a heartbeat, and he cracked his back. Getting out of here would be ideal.
He wasn't particularly fond of Resh dragging Juni's dead weight, but they seemed close. Pater and daughter, probably, from the height difference. He'd allow it, for now. Jax, on the other hand? His smile widened at the thought.
He killed snark in his tone, and reverted to his natural timbre, keeping his words steady despite the excitement.
"Alright, Resh. Who's leading?"
Cadastern caught that look in Naveil's eyes. A look that almost promised a stupid and crazy-violent decision.
What was he up to? He almost wasn't human, the way his personalities changed. He was angry one heartbeat, and even angrier the next, and then he relaxed – but relaxed was actually even MORE angry?
She stood up beside him, stifling a few coughs. He glanced at her doubtfully and muttered something.
"I'm not sick," she whispered. "I've got wet-lung. Mom told–"
He rolled his eyes and snorted at her like she was a glob of mud. Well fine, then.
(“Dead weight” 😭)
(Naveil resisting the urge to fucking lunge at Jax-)
(Damn)
(😭)
(almost time for the grand debut hehehe)
Tseth rolls his eyes at Resh. His name wasn’t that difficult to spell, unless you’re illiterate to some degree. “Sharing a name with the god of darkness. A nice sentiment, really.” His attention turns to Nathaniel, who’s backed himself into the shadows. I can’t tell if he’s scared, or just an asshole. Maybe it’s both, actually. He glances at Naveil, skeptical. Confident for someone of his size. We’ll see how that turns out. Cadastern seems more reasonable. He returns from his thoughts when Alex nudges him in the side and gives him a look of ’stop doing that.’
Alex looks slightly surprised when Resh agrees with him. I guess that was more audible than I thought. He looks back at Tseth, who looks like he’s judging half the people here. This wasn’t really bad, but the glare from Tseth as his attention changes from person-to-person really isn’t helping anything. He nudges Tseth to make him stop, before turning his attention back to Resh. I guess he’s the one deciding things. Fine by me.
Nathaniel stared at the group, keeping himself in the shadows. He regarded each person with careful consideration. His attention turned to Resh, the big man unsavory to him. He was going to become a full threat if Nathaniel didn’t keep his eye on him.”It was very difficult in a room full of potentially dangerous people.” Nathaniel hissed. He didn’t voice his opinion further or give insight to his thoughts. For the meanwhile, he was an enigma, watching everyone closely. This was a motley group of individuals, all clashing with each other. This would be fun to watch
Jax’s gaze flicked over to Naviel, glaring at the short one. He didn’t like what the smile entailed, the body language rather concerning. He shook his head, peering over the others. Few seemed to be in their right mind, others seemed to work on threats. He dipped his head. “I too think we should try to get out of here.” Jax looked up, making eye contact with Resh. “If we stay in such a confined space for long, I don’t think we'll make it.” Sure, he made eye contact with Resh, but wasn’t accusing him of being the problem. However, some were unfavorable. Maybe once outside of a confined box, they would be less - trouble.
Nico nodded at Alex. They did need to find a way out of the cave. She was sure nobody wanted to be in a dank cave for hours. Also, it didn't quite seem allergy friendly. Not that it really mattered but still. She stayed quiet as the others talked, or rather argued, and then Nicoletta decided to gauge Gabby's expression. To her, it appeared that Gabriela had no idea what was going on. Or perhaps she did. It was honestly hard to tell with her. Ah, the joys of being friends with someone who was an expert at masking their emotions. Maybe if she asked what her thoughts were, Gabby would share them with her? Unlikely, as Gabriella kept her thoughts more guarded than her shady business deals, but it was worth a try. The girl next to her shifted slightly, and leaned closer to her, mumbling in Italian as she crossed her arms, "Perhaps if we stay here, we'll get lucky and some of them will drop dead."
Not what Nico had been expecting, but it wasn't entirely surprising either. Nico supposed it would be more concerning if she hadn't made such a comment like that. But despite the somewhat morbid comment, she knew that the brunette was becoming more uncomfortable the longer they stayed in the cave. She merely sighed and placed a hand on Gabriella's arm, squeezing it gently. It was a sort of reassurance, and Nico hoped it would help her just a bit.
(I’ll do one more response string and then have them exit the cave, I want Resh to go first-)
(After that, I’ll have us wait for Luna to narrate)
