Tseth notices Naveil as he stares—or rather, glares—at him. “Something you want to say, Naveil?” He readjusts his grip on his spear, somewhat subconsciously. He wasn’t extremely interested in fighting, but he also wasn’t thrilled being here. Or watching as someone the human equivalent of a chihuahua tried to intimidate him.

Alex sighs next to Tseth. He’s in an argumentative mood. He sheathes his own spear on his back, trying to make an effort to look the least bit more friendly. He takes off his own mask as well, more so to speak easier than for friendliness. “We’re all probably going to be stuck with each other for a while, so can we at least make an effort not to slit each other’s throats while we are?” He says this to everyone, but the intended audience is clear.

Nathaniel drew his shoulders back, straightening his back. He snarled at Resh, making a point to show his fangs. “Why are you looking at me? I’m only reacting to my environment and clearly the people in it are provoking the bear further.” He stared at Resh, flicking his eyes toward Tseth and Alex. “I don’t think you should be staring at me. You should be flicking your eyes toward the small creature.” He flicked his head, motioning at Naveil. That one was their problem, not him. Nathaniel didn’t care what others had to say. Their voices, opinions were inferior. All he focused on was Resh and his anecdotal reasons.

Jax nodded his head, frowning at Nathaniel. He never learned to stop, did he? His aggression alway grew, never mellowing. “I would hope no one would try to murder us all.” His eyes flicked to the two aggressors in the room. “I would be futile. You can’t escape the people around you with slit throats and slash chests.” He frowned, annoyance taking over his face. Would they have to deal with this for long? Jax hoped not. Bloodshed would not be wise.

(Not my fault people keep provoking each other 🤷‍♀️ at least they’re trying to stay on Resh’s good side for the most part- with a few exceptions-)

Gabriella started to tap her foot on the floor, becoming more impatient as the minutes passed by. They were getting nowhere with all this unnecessary squabble. Honestly, they were acting like children. And they were supposed to be what, adults? Well, she supposed most of them were adults. She stared at the others with an irritated look. "Why don't we all just shut up and focus on getting out of here, hm? Your incessant quarreling isn't going to get us anywhere." The look of irritation fades into contemplation, as she mentally adds, If anything, it'll get one of them killed. Though, in that case, I suppose that's one less person I'd have to deal with. Well then, in that case, please, continue fighting. Her musing is interrupted when Nico elbows her. She looks down at her, expecting to see irritation over the situation as well, but was surprised when she was met with a glare.

"Can we not think about their demise?" Nicoletta hisses, her voice low enough that only Gabriella could hear.

Gabriella doesn't even ask how Nico knew what she had been thinking. Instead, she tilts her head slightly to her left, her eyes glancing back toward the group. It honestly looked like she was contemplating whether she would stop or not. "Perhaps," was all she said, before turning quiet once again.

Resh narrowed his eyes at the people in the room. Too many of them. He didn’t like it at all. He stared down Nathaniel. “I never provoked you until you provoked me. And I am looking at the small person, as well. Everyone here has a potential to be dangerous.” He looked down at Cadastern when she offered to watch Juni. “…No, thank you,” he said stiffly, before being nudged by Juni. He gave her a questioning look.

Juni looked up at Resh. “I’ll be fine. Cadastern seems nice enough. You go check out whatever’s out there. Don’t die,” she added quickly, poking him in the chest.

Resh stared at Juni for a second. He couldn’t say no to her, even if he didn’t trust Cadastern as much as she did. He sighed. “Alright. Fine.” He looked at Cadastern, lowering his voice so that only she could hear him. “If you try anything, I’ll slit your throat.” He looked at Gabriella as she spoke, tilting his head. “Well, what a great thought. I’m sure nobody pitched that brilliant idea before now.” At that, he silently turned and stalked away from the group, looking for any source of light that could mean an exit. He drew his sword, just in case. He saw a faint light, and walked toward it. That must be the exit.

Juni looked at Cadastern apologetically. “Don’t worry about him. He’s a bit protective.” She lowered her voice a little. “He’s actually really nice. But you didn’t hear that from me.” She grinned at Cadastern as she said this.
