He thought about it for a handful of seconds before shrugging. “Sure. Sounds fun. I think there’s a movie theater a few blocks over.”

Brenn nodded, kind of excited about the idea, although if another one of the guy's saw them, it would give them more drama, so in a way, it was a genius idea for him. "Shall we go then?"

“We shall.” He replied in a comically snooty tone. As they began to walk towards the theater he spoke again. “So what type of movie do you want to see?”

Brenn rolled his eyes playfully at the other boy, and he pulled his phone out, seeing what was there. "Honestly, I really don't know. . .Everything seems boring. If that makes sense, and to begin with I don't even watch too many movies." He looked over at Nico, hoping that he had something in mind, "What would you be interested in seeing though. I mean, I could watch anything, except romance, all romance movies are stupid, or at least the ones I've seen."

“Hm let me see.” Nico pulled out his own phone, looking at the options they had. He nodded in agreement with what Brenn said about romance movies. After another minute or two of scrolling, he found a potential option. “How about this one?” He asked.

Brenn took a quick look at the synopsis of the movie and smiled, "Wow, I must admit, that movie looks rather, fun. . ." He said as he pulled out his wallet. They were at the doors of the theatre at this point, and since he had invited Nico, he didn't think it would have been fair to make him pay for it. It'd be his treat, at least this time.

Nico nodded. “Thanks.” He said when Brenn payed for it. They didn’t have too much longer until the movie started. “Want to get some snacks?” He asked as they walked inside.

Brenn shrugged, "I just ate a giant cinnamon roll, I'm good right now, but if you're hungry I might pick something up." He said as he followed Nico over to the snack counter.

“Mmm why not honestly. If I end up not being hungry then I just have a snack for later ya know?” They moved through the line rather quickly, Nico getting what he wanted. “I can pay for yours since you paid for the tickets.” He offered.

Brenn sighed, "I'll just have a pretzel if that's okay? I don't really need anything though." He said with a small awkward smile. "I just uhm, yeah. . ." He said fidgeting with the end of his cardigan a bit, "I mean, you don't have to though. . ."

“Okay then, one pretzel it is!” He said, getting one for Brenn and paying for the both of them. Once he’d paid, he handed Brenn the pretzel. “Here you go. Now then..let’s go find our theater.”

Brenn smiled a bit and followed Nico through the hallways."I think that we're in Theatre 3? I think that was it at least. . ." He said with a shrug, "But uhm, I, well I could be wrong." He said with another shrug, taking a little bite of his pretzel.

“I think that was it.” He started walking in that direction. When they got there, it was actually the correct theater. “Nice!” He said, holding the door for Brenn.

Brenn shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal and walked through the door and over to their seats, "I just guessed to be honest, I knew it was in the single digits and below five, so it kind of narrowed down a lot of options for me, I guess."

He chuckled softly. “Well good guessing skills then I guess.” He replied, sitting down. They had a few minutes left of previews before the actual movie.

Brenn smiled reaching for his phone to turn it off. He glanced around the theater to see who was there, then saw some of the guys walking into the theater. "Nico. . .look who's here." He said softly, leaning over to whipser in the other boy's ear. He gently nudged him to look in that direction, "We still have to keep it up then. . ."

A small grin appeared on his face and he nodded. “So what do we want to do?” He asked quietly.

Brenn shrugged and awkwardly offered the other boy his hand, then instead of going through with that, he just gently placed his arm around Nico's shoulders, "Is this alright, or is there something you'd like to add?"

“Mm just one more thing.” He leaned over, resting his head on Brenn’s shoulder. “Now it’s perfect.” He chuckled softly.

Brenn smiled slightly, rolling his eyes, "Of course that needed to be added." He said quietly, so that only Nico could hear him, "They're going to go crazy about this."

“They really are. How long do you think it’ll take them to notice us?” He murmured, plastering a lovesick smile on his face to further add to the illusion.

"I think they already have." Brenn whispered, quickly glancing over his shoulder to see one of the other men taking a picture or a video of the two. He turned back around and gently rested his head on Nico's, "I'm pretty sure they're telling the group now.

“Hopefully this doesn’t end up blowing up in our faces ya know? That’d really suck..we could never live this down.” He commented quietly.

Brenn sighed, "If anything, we could have a big breakup or something, and then go back to hating each other, you know?"

“Yeah true. They’d probably never believe us though. At least not for a few more months.” The trailers were over and Nico fell silent.
