Astral glanced down when he heard the faint whine come from Simon, stopping his walk to the kitchen for now. He watched the small man, curious what he would do.
Simon opened his eyes, squinting some as he did so. He was trying to figure out what had disturbed him.
Astral watched Simon before taking a careful step forward. Would he notice? Astral was curious now.
((Eeeee is the ceiling still there?))
(Yee)
Simon couldn’t see much honestly. He got startled when he felt them move again. “A-Astral?” He called out quietly.
Yes? Astral kept from speaking out, for now, keeping up some appearances. Simon could figure things out on his own as Astral took another step.
Are we going somewhere? He mentally asked the god, sitting up more in bed as he tried to figure out what all was happening.
To the kitchen for some food, Astral said in turn. He was properly walking now, holding the room to his chest to keep it as steady as possible.
Oh..okay then. I just got a bit startled. he replied, getting comfortable in his new position. He’d stay awake for awhile longer to see what all was going on.
I'm sorry for that, Astral said in turn. He was glad that Simon didn't seem too upset, at least. It was… puzzling, almost. He kept a close eye on the man as he walked, smiling some to himself.
It’s okay. It hadn’t done much harm besides waking him up. He pulled the blanket up around himself some more, careful not to disturb Mia or the leopard.
The other two were still asleep, thankfully, so they wouldn't have to deal with the current situation.
Is there anything, in particular, you'd like to eat? The god offered.
No, anything’s fine with me. he replied, fidgeting with his hands to make sure he’d avoid accidentally touching his stomach.
Alright, then. Astral kept his voice soft, setting the room down on the counter as he came to the kitchen.
Simon let out a soft sigh, just relaxing in bed as he listened to the sounds of Astral moving around. It was more than a bit intimidating to be this small when the god was already significantly taller than him at his normal height. He tried not to let it bother him.
Astral was quiet as he cooked for the four of them, glancing at Simon on occasion. He moved to gently lower a couple of plates into the room for them.
No, nothing like dolls at all.
Simon didn’t like being small like this, it made him feel even more powerless than normal. But at least Astral hadn’t tried to grab him today. Not yet at least.
Not yet. It would come, but perhaps when it did it would be gentler? Who knows, at this point. Astral was being nice for now, at least. He pulled a chair over to sit by the table, watching Simon to see if he would actually eat.
Simon did start to eat, but he was mostly just moving the food around on his plate, taking small bites of it every once in awhile.
It was better than nothing. Mia shifted some on the bed, eyes slowly opening.
"Mm…" She trailed off, rubbing her eyes.
It really was. Simon just hoped that Astral would be able to understand that. “Good morning.” He said softly, looking over at Mia as she woke up.
Astral was worried. He wanted his child to get enough nutrients to form properly, after all.
"Morning…" Mia trailed off as she realized Simon was eating, and that there was another plate for her.
“Hungry?” He asked, offering her the plate. He was doing his best to eat the most he could, but it was hard.
Mia nodded a bit, taking the plate. She kept quiet, for now. She didn't want to risk anything in front of Astral, who she just knew was watching.
Astral was still frowning as he watched Simon attempt to eat.
