"I just kinda wanna chill out, y'know? Stressful ass few days. Weeks. Whatever." Damien shrugged. "Y'know? I got an alarm that goes off when I need to go, so."

Rowan nodded. "Uh… we could watch a movie or something. Or more of whatever TV show you were watching."

"I'd say yes to the show, but it makes me tired as fuck." Damien paused for a moment to do the math in his head. "A movie works, I got 4..? Ish? Hours?"

"Yeah, we've got time… any movies in particular you wanna watch?" Rowan asked, heading over to Damien's room.

"Nah. I like just about anything, except for romance 'n all that sappy shit." Damien sat on his bed, watching Ginger as she leapt onto his bean bag.

"Aight, let's see what we can find." Rowan flopped down on the bed and grabbed the remote to turn on the TV.

"Yeah." He flopped onto his back, staring up at the ceiling until Rowan made a decision. "Lemme know when you've got something you want, yeah?"

"Mm." Rowan scrolled aimlessly for a few minutes before settling on the game show channel. "Can't find anything good, so we're watching Jeopardy."

"That works." Damien sat up, scooting back slightly so that he could rest his chin on Rowan's shoulder.

Rowan flushed lightly, but didn't acknowledge the contact. "This show always makes me feel so fucking stupid." He laughed.

"Yeah? Me too." Damien laughed. "Don't know jack shit about anything they're talking about."

"Like, fuckin… geography?? History?? Who even fucking cares, honestly. Occasionally I'll get one, but not often."

"Same here." Damien grabbed his blanket, wrapping it around his shoulders. "It's just a good time-killing show, though."

"Yeah." Rowan sighed softly and kept watching. "At least it's entertaining, even if I don't know any of the answers."

Damien ran his fingers through his hair. "I guess that's what it's like for any trivia game show, though. Like– yeah, I'm a dumbass, but like.. at least these dudes on the show are too."

Rowan laughed a bit. "Except for when they're like, interrupting the host to keep answering the questions because they can't bear to weight of how much of a fucking genius they are."

"Are you kidding? Those are my favorite guys." Damien snorted. "You can't tell me they're not funny as fuck."

"I'm not saying I don't like them." Rowan laughed. "It's hilarious how taken aback and flustered the hosts get."

"Yeah, man.." Damien laughed. He seemed a little drowsy, though maybe that was him just being calm. He moved so that he could rest his head on Rowan's shoulder. "Funny ass show. Don't know if it's supposed to be."

Rowan flushed a bit again. "Mhmm… no idea. Fun to watch, though." He fell silent in favor of actually watching the show.

Damien nodded, crossing his arms loosely over his chest and going quiet as well. He wasn't excited for work today, so he may as well take what free time he could get at the moment.

Rowan crossed his arms and sighed softly while he watched. "Well, this is exciting."

"..Riveting." Damien snorted. He checked his phone. Not a lot of time had passed. "I'm having an absolute blast."

"Me too. I can't imagine doing anything else. Ever." Rowan snickered a bit and turned his attention back to the screen.

"If someone asked my to stop watching, I just don't think I could do it." Damien laughed softly, adjusting how he was sitting again to get more comfortable.
