Melissa smiled back at her. “Yeah my stomach just hurts a bit..” her voice trailed near the end. She felt bad lying to Ciel. “GSA seems cool. I went to the one at my old school.”
Melissa smiled back at her. “Yeah my stomach just hurts a bit..” her voice trailed near the end. She felt bad lying to Ciel. “GSA seems cool. I went to the one at my old school.”
"Ooh, that's no fun." Ciel winced in sympathy. "Oh, you should come with me to GSA! It'll be great!" Ciel suggested, smiling widely. Even if Melissa had to decline, Ciel had still tried.
Melissa smiled but then but her lip. “I’m not sure if I can but I’ll let you know at gym,” she said.
"Alright. If you can't, it's all good!" Ciel said, pulling out her notebook and a pencil. She really hoped that Melissa could come, but if not she had Katherine. It would be a good time to get to know her better.
Melissa nodded. looking at the teacher who started talking. she kept her eyes on her paper. pretending to pay attention when really she was stuck in her own thoughts.
Ciel turned her attention to the teacher, but she glanced at Melissa every once in a while. She was halfway paying attention to the teacher, the other half of her mind stuck on the fact that Melissa had gone to the GSA at her other school. Maybe she actually had a chance?
Melissa's mind completely went away from the teacher. She wanted to go to GSA so bad but what if word got out to Branden? Not to mention people would be suspicious of their relationship because it's not as if Bi people exist or anything. She bounced her leg under the table.
Ciel shook her head and focused all of her attention on the teacher. She wasn't good enough at school to only be giving the teacher half of her attention. Still, she didn't stop herself from glancing over at Melissa every once in a while. She was still paying attention, so it didn't hurt or anything.
melissa glanced at Ciel. She saw her looking and smiled. The teacher stopped talking and handed out worksheets.
Ciel smiled back at Melissa, then looked to the front of the room. "Oh, joy, we're doing a worksheet. Who could have seen that coming?' She asked, rolling her eyes at Melissa with a smirk.
Melissa laughed slightly. "Hey at least we aren't sitting through just a long lecture," She said smiling wider. She sat up straighter. The teacher handed out the worksheets and Melissa scanned it. "This is pretty much the sheet we did before though."
"Hmm, true. I might fall asleep or something if that happens," Ciel said, shaking her head. She grabbed the worksheet and looked at it as well. "So what you're saying is I actually have a chance of knowing what's going on? Awesome."
Cat smiled. “Yep! You where doing good before,” she said. “This will just perfect those skills.”
"Hopefully I don't get too bored before I get fantastic at doing this," Ciel muttered, giving Melissa a smile. "Then again, you're here. Math can never be boring when I'm doing it with you."
Melissa smiled managing to stop a blush. “Oh umm same with you,” she said.
Ciel grinned and turned to her worksheet. Most of this she was getting to know by now and it wasn't too annoying. Plus, she had Melissa sitting next to her. Even if Ciel didn't need help, it was nice having Melissa near her.
Melissa worked on the worksheet quickly. Wanting to make sure she didn’t have much work to do during lunch and gym. That way she could spend time with Ciel.
Now that she knew what was going on, Ciel could go through the problems on the worksheet much quicker than she had before. This filled her with a certain joy because maybe she could spend lunch with Melissa, instead of only working on homework with Melissa near her.
Melissa finished her paper and looked over at Ciel. The class was already almost over.
Ceil still had two more problems, but she was certain she could finish them in time. She glanced over at Melissa and gave her a smile. "Finished already? Lucky."
Melissa smiled and nodded. “Yep! Need any help?” She asked smiling.
"For the first time in forever… I don't think so!" Ciel laughed. "But thanks for asking. If it turns out I don't actually know what I'm doing, I'll be sure to ask you."
“That’s great!” Melissa said smiling at her.
"Thanks!" Ciel started in on the second to last problem. Luckily, the problem wasn't too difficult and she finished quickly.
Melissa leaned on her table slightly. Still thinking about going to GSA or not.
