Ciel laughed, smiling along with her. She watched the people in the gym play their games, the looked back at Katherine. "So, are there any other people who are as nice as you around here?"
Ciel laughed, smiling along with her. She watched the people in the gym play their games, the looked back at Katherine. "So, are there any other people who are as nice as you around here?"
“Well no Not really in this class. That I know at least. I Know plenty of cool people in other classes though,” she said looking around for a second.
"Well, if there are any in our shared class, I'd love it if you pointed them out," Ciel said. "I kinda need some more friends, because right now I have two, you included." She laughed softly.
“Well I’m glad I’m one of them,” she said her smile growing. “There’s Alex in our Math class. Have you thought of joining any clubs?”
"Alex… okay." Ciel nodded, trying to commit the name to memory. "No, I haven't. What clubs are there? Any you recommend?" She asked, looking at Katherine eagerly.
“Well the usual really. Book club, newspaper, student council, GSA, debate and then a bunch of sports,” she said.
"Huh, I'll have to think about them. Definitely not sports, that's for sure." Ciel laughed. "Are you in any of them?" She asked, smiling softly.
katherine nodded slightly. “Not really. I go to GSA sometimes Alex practically runs it though,” she said.
"I'll have to check that one out, then," Ciel said. "When and where does it meet?" She asked. Having a club to got to would be really fun, especially since it would give her a chance to meet some more people.
“I room 314 on Thursday’s,” she said. Today was Wednesday.
"Alright, I guess I'm going tomorrow, then. Is it after school?" Ciel asked, feeling kind of bad about bombarding Katherine with questions.
“Yeah it’s right after school. Usually ends before four,” she said. “I’ll make sure to go tomorrow too. That way you already know someone.”
"Oh, thank you so much!" Ciel exclaimed, grinning widely at Katherine. "You are the best right now, honestly." She pulled out her phone and wrote down the time and date of the club into her notes, so she wouldn't forget it.
Katherine nodded. “It’s no problem,” she said her smile growing. The bell rang and she went to stand up.
"Well, I guess I'll see you tomorrow!" Ciel said, standing up as well. "It was lovely meeting you, and– oh, can I have your phone number? If not, that's fine also."
“Of course you can!” Katherine said taking out her phone. “Here just put in yours and I’ll text you.”
Ciel accepted the phone and put in her number, trying to hurry as to not make anyone late to anything. "There we go," she said, handing the phone back to Katherine.
“Thanks I’ll see you Tomorrow?” She said before texting a hey it’s Katherine to Ciel.
"Yeah! See you tomorrow! Bye!" Ciel grinned at her and quickly added her to her contacts before going off to her next class. Hopefully, Melissa would be back tomorrow as well. If that was the case, tomorrow would be really wonderful.
Melissa came back to school the next day. Other than a slight limp she appeared fine. She went to first period and sat down in her usual seat before a lot of other people where there.
Ciel arrived a few minutes before the final bell, spotting Melissa immediately. "You're back! How do you feel?" She asked, sitting down next to her with a huge grin on her face.
Melissa smiled at her. “I feel fine. Just a small cold,” she lied not really meeting her eyes.
"Okay." Ciel nodded, a little suspicious. She had a feeling Melissa wasn't telling her the whole truth, but she didn't push her. Melissa would tell her if she felt ready. "Well, I took your advice and talked to some people. Now I know one more person, and I'm going to a club after school today!" Ciel exclaimed, grinning proudly.
“That’s awesome!” She said smiling. “What club?” She winced slightly as a sharp pain went through her body after grabbing her bag.
"GSA," Ciel answered, noticing Melissa's wince. "You okay?" She asked, looking at Melissa with concern. "Being sick can suck." She offered her a sympathetic smile.
