(Yes! Totally!)
((Alright! My start? Also, should we have something happen at the 'ball'?))
(There should be a kidnapping or something…)
((Like one of our characters, or just someone, and they team up to find them?))
(Sure! Or maybe there's a prophesy about those two, and they get kidnapped?)
((Anything that let's me show the darker side of Kesari's powers lmao. Which do you think'll be more fun?))
(Hmm. I think they should both be kidnapped.)
((Alright!))
Kesari wasn't too big a fan of formal events, but she'd once again managed to get roped into one. Some sort of diplomacy ball or something, between various magical species. She smoothed down her dress for the millionth time, while chatting with Vanya, the witch she'd let rope her into this. She was an old friend of Kesari's, and one of the Council members, and had decided that Kesari was now an integral part of these things, due to her ability to calm tense situations well.

(Awesome!)
Aquarius straightened his suit, annoyed at the tightness of it. He just wanted it off. But noooo. He had to sit through a boring ball with a bunch of blabby witches and act all kind and sweet. So, not him at all.
Thirty figures perched on the window sills, watching intently.
Vanya excused herself to go make polite conversation with the other visitors, and Kesari sighed, finding herself alone once more. As had become a trend when she was left with her thoughts, her mind turned to Aquarius. It had been almost a month since they'd met, and since she'd left, and her work hadn't brought her anywhere near the city he lived in.
Aquarius followed his sister into the hall. He winced at the amount of pretty witches that he saw.Ever since he had met Kes, he just…lost interest in women.
You've got more important things to focus on, Kesari. She berated herself as she picked at the food on the refreshment table, more for something to do than to eat. Lives to save.
Aquarius was soon stopped by a young witch who seemed beautiful and knew it. She tried to hard, he thought.
The witch cozied herself up against him. "Hey, handsome," she said, blinking up at him with long eyelashes.
With a sigh, Kesari turned to survey the room, once again stiffening in place the way a soldier would. That's what she was, or had been, after all. And then her eyes landed on a familiar sight, and an amused smile flickered onto her face.
Aquarius had a pained look on his face. The witch was touching all over his chest and stomach.
Finally, he shoved her away.
"It's been a pleasure," he said, "but I really have to go."
Huffing a quiet laugh, Kesari made her way over to Aquarius, eyes flickering to the witch who had been hanging off him before she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Darling, I'm glad you managed to make it. How is your brother?"
Startled, Aquarius turned, then grinned at her. "Hasn't jumped off any roofs yet," he said with a smile. He placed his hands on her waist.
Kesari laughed softly, shaking her head. "Well, if he decides he missed the feeling, remember to have me on site this time." She pressed a quick kiss to his lips before letting go of him, to turn to the witch. "Mara! God, it's been forever, hasn't it? I see you've met my fiancee, though."
Aquarius smirked at her, hiding his relief.
Mara looked furious. "He was cheating on you, you know."
"Is that right." Kesari raised an eyebrow and tilted her head, looking fairly unconcerned.
"Yes!" She said, clearly furious. "He was. He tried to kiss me, and… yeah!"
"Aquarius, are you trying to kiss other witches behind my back?" Kesari asked, looking up at him.
Aquarius smirked, eyes twinkling. "And what if I was?"
Kesari scrunched up her nose as she pretended to think, before shrugging. "I suppose you'd have to only kiss them, then. No more kissing me."
