Halm blushed a little.
"Really?" He asked quietly. "What do you think of that?"
Halm blushed a little.
"Really?" He asked quietly. "What do you think of that?"
"U-Um… I dunno… I haven't really been flirted with before…"
Halm stayed quiet a moment. "Then how does it make you feel?"
Cas hesitated for a few seconds. "Kinda good, I guess…"
Halm nodded a little.
"Would you like me to stop anyway?" He finally asked.
"Um… probably for now, yeah…" Cas fidgeted uncomfortably, staring down at the ground.
"Okay then," Halm said gently. He took his arms from around Cas, standing upright. He gave Cas a small smile.
Cas hesitated before walking up to Halm and leaning his head against him, his cheeks flushing lightly.
Halm lightly put his hand on Cas's head. Too cute.
"I need to get back to work," he said.
Cas set Nix down and held his arms up to Halm, wanting to be picked up.
(Cas: I'm not a child
Also Cas: this fucking shit right here)
(XD)
Halm smiled a little, picking Cas up easily. He made his way out the door, leaving it open this time.
Cas huddled close to Halm and closed his eyes, relaxing once he was being carried. Nix tutted a bit and went to lay on the couch to wait for them.
Halm smiled a little, and sat down on his knees to begin working. He kept one arm around Cas the entire time.
Cas watched the process tentatively, not really wanting to experience anyone else's memory today.
Halm carefully tended to the souls, smiling softly. Today had been fun for him.
"What are you doing with them?" Cas asked, keeping close to Halm.
"Watering them," Halm explained. "Be careful not to touch the water." Halm made sure none of the water could splash up on Cas.
"Mmkay." Cas clung tightly to Halm, making sure he wouldn't fall out anything.
Halm finished with the water, holding Cas close with his big arm.
"How many do you have to water?" He asked. "Where do you get the water from?"
"I have to water a couple more plots. And the water comes from the river." Halm stood, bringing Cas up with him in one arm.
Cas nodded. "The river that kills me or something, right?"
"Right. It helps the souls go into their next body." Halm knelt at the next plot of flowers, beginning to work again.
"So I guess that's why you're watering the souls?" He asked. "Isn't it dangerous for you to touch the water?"
"It's not for me," Halm said. "I don't have a body. Just a soul. So it doesn't affect me."
