Zachary laid his head on Cas's, running his back again. He was slightly better, with how much he was doing it, but Halm still needed to help him.
Zachary laid his head on Cas's, running his back again. He was slightly better, with how much he was doing it, but Halm still needed to help him.
Cas eventually started to relax a bit, his sniffles dying down. "I'm sorry…" He whispered shakily. "Don't be sorry, Cas… you haven't done anything wrong. You've got every right to be upset, alright?"
Halm nodded.
"It's alright to be upset about what happened, Cas. We just have to make sure we do something to change it." Zachary pulled away a bit to look down at Cas, giving him a shaky, tired smile.
Cas looked up and gently kissed Zachary's cheek, rubbing at his teary eyes with one small fist. "O-Okay, I… I'll try my best…" He whispered shakily. Nix gave him a gentle smile. "That's the spirit, Cas. We'll get through this."
Zachary leaned into the kiss, nuzzling Cas's cheek in return. He also did it to help wipe away the tears, resting his head lightly on Cas.
"Thank you, Cas," Halm said gently.
Cas nodded shakily and huddled closer. "Mhmm…" Nix hesitated before moving back into Halm's lap. This is a mess…
Halm wrapped both his arms around Nix, running his back a little. The day was off to a great start, of course. Cas had already had a breakdown, and it was barely even later enough for breakfast. Zachary let out a gently hum, rubbing Cas's head gently.
"Maybe we should go make some breakfast?" Nix suggested, slipping out of Halm's lap onto the floor and holding his hand out to him.
Halm nodded a little. He glanced at Zachary and Cas, worried about leaving them alone. Zachary glanced up, arms around Cas securely still.
"Cas won't hurt himself with Zachary watching…" Nix whispered to Halm on their way out. "He'll be okay for a few minutes."
Halm nodded, leaving the door slightly open as they made their way to the kitchen. Halm started cooking, obvious he still wanted to get back quickly.
Cas sighed shakily when Halm and Nix left. "I'm glad you can hear me, at least…" He murmured, still holding tightly to Zachary.
Zachary nodded, pressing his head gently to Cas's. Trying to kiss him. God, this was horrible. If he couldn't speak, he at least wanted to kiss Cas.
Cas looked up at Zachary shyly. "Are you okay with me kissing you on the lips? It's okay if not… I don't want to make you uncomfortable."
Zachary was a bit surprised by Cas's request. Still, he nodded gently. He easy more than okay with it.
Cas hesitated before gently pulling Zachary down to kiss him, trembling lightly as he did so. After he pulled away, he buried his face in Zachary's chest again.
Zachary was glad for the help down, doing his best to eternal the kiss. When Cas pulled away. He slowly raised one hand, putting it on top of Cas's head. He held Cas close, letting out a quiet sound.
Cas shifted a bit to be more comfortable, wrapping his legs around Zachary's waist. "I love you…" He murmured weakly.
Zachary let out a soft sound of agreement. He loved Cas, too. He rubbed Cas's head as beat he could, always scared he might accidently hurt the other.
"Mm…" Cas tentatively leaned into Zachary's hand with his eyes still closed, trying to relax. "We're gonna get you better, okay?"
Zachary laid his head on Cas's gently, nodding a little. He knew they would. He pressed his lips against Cas again, trying so hard to kiss him.
Cas looked up and gently returned the kiss for Zachary, huddling close to him. "I… I dunno how long it'll take, but we'll fix you as soon as we possibly can."
Zachary nodded slightly, a smile softly settling on his lips at the kiss. He let out a quiet purr of agreement.
"Um… are you hungry? I think Halm and Nix are cooking something for breakfast…" Cas looked over at the door.
Zachary nodded a little, but have a confused sound. How what were they going to feed him? He was going to have a hard time of it…
Halm carried the three plates and a bowl into the bedroom, one arm around Nix gently.
