((How'd your account get lost?))
"Depends." Babe said, grabbing his arm carefully to keep from getting separated in the crowd, who were very much enjoying someone's rendition of Livin' On Prayer. "We can go grab something t' eat, or we can just walk aroun' an' look for somethin'?"
"Looking sounds good." He was able to push through the crowd and come out on the other side, but only barely.
(I was trying to switch over to a different email, but my password was gone and it logged me out first)
((Oof. That's gotta suck))
She laughed as they managed to get out of the shop, shaking her head. "God, it's like a mosh pit in there. C'mon, let's go this way."
(I have a lot of character rebuilding to do…)
Henry shook his head back at the retreating building, running after her through the dark streets. "Why this way?" He asked playfully.
"'Cause I felt like it." Babe shot back, grinning. She bumped his shoulder with her own, shoving her hands in her pockets. "Y'know, you're the local. Shouldn't you know where all the good spots are? Parties and hangouts and whatnot?"
(Ooooh that sucks. Good luck.)
Henry grinned. "Sure, but I don't know where you want to go. Our public library is open late!" He walked sideways to look at her, until they were up on a sidewalk and he started walking next to her again.
"Library sounds good for now." Babe agreed with a smile, slipping to his other side to walk on the edge of the curb, balancing like a tight rope walker.
Henry held an arm out behind her, just in case. He kept them on the route to the library, hiding a smile for Babe's antics.
Babe took to humming the song she'd sang as she pretended to wobble. After a few moments, she took a few faster steps ahead, before spinning into a cartwheel with an impressive amount of grace.
Henry shook his head in admiration. "Babe, you're really making me wonder if there's anything you can't do."
"I can't do a backflip." Babe mused, pausing in a handstand. "I'm also really bad at soccer. And art. So there you go."
"Three whole things." He shook his head, smiling despite himself. "I bet you couldn't eat three whole pizzas in a row."
"That sounds like a challenge, Jacobs." Babe said, letting her legs fall behind her to pull herself into a vertical position. "What size're we talkin'?"
"Large. stuffed crust, the works. Pepperoni, sausage, all the meat." Henry gave her a sly smile.
"Well what're we waiting for. I haven't eaten anything all day." Babe looked unconcerned, starting off down the street and waving for him to follow.
"Pizza it is, I guess. And Babe? The good pizza's that way." He jerked his thumb a different way, a goofy grin over his face.
Babe turned on her heel, nodding. "I knew that." She said, striding past him as she pointed ahead. "Pizza!"
"Onward to pizza, huh?" Henry said, still laughing as he followed Babe. "You have too much energy. Maybe that's the problem."
"My prescription ran out yesterday." Babe explained, skipping now. "So I'm not drugged."
"I think I like you better this way." Henry commented with a laugh, almost running to keep up with her.
"This Babe doesn't get anything done though." Babe pointed out, turning to walk backwards and look at him. "Rico says I'm scary on the ice like this, too."
(Oh I empathize. I never take meds.)
((My meds are the only thing keeping me sane right now lmao))
(SO much energy yet none at all.)
