Zev nodded. "Ah. It would perhaps, then, be best if i tried to remain as silent as possible? Otherwise i may inadvertently give myself away."
Zev nodded. "Ah. It would perhaps, then, be best if i tried to remain as silent as possible? Otherwise i may inadvertently give myself away."
She shrugged, “As long as you..you know, adapt a few of the things I do, like using less precise language and ask more..simply phrased questions, you can talk as much as you want.” Thesa still didn’t look over at him, doing more flips and spins while waiting for the time to pass.
He nodded. "I'll work on that." He replied. "An hour has elapsed. I am going to start the ship's pressurization sequence." He said, floating over towards her ship.
She nodded, watching him float towards her ship and deciding to grab her few things on his ship. Floating down the hallway in his ship, she made it back to the room he had told her to set her stuff in, grabbing it from where it was secured down. Now she just had to go to her ship and drop it all off. She hoped Zev had figured out the code without too much trouble.
Zev put in the code, and floated into her ship. Once inside, he located the console, and started the pressurization process.
Thesa floated out of his ship with her things in her arms, held tightly against her chest as she floated between the two ships and to he door of her ship. A quick put in of the code and she was in, the door sealing tightly behind her as she made her way over to where Zev was.
Zev looked up. "The ship will be fully pressurized in thirty minutes. I will take off my suit at that time, and check for leaks. Once I have ascertained that there are no leaks, you can take off your suit."
“Sounds good bud,” She answered, already disappearing towards her small kitchen and preparing two packets of food for herself. Sadly, she remembered she couldn’t eat without her suit off and sighed, leaving the boiling water where it was until she could actually eat. Better safe than sorry when he opened to door. Hopefully there were no leaks.
Zev raised an eyebrow slightly, but said nothing as he watched the meter slowly rise as pressure and gravity began to return to her ship. It came very slowly, his body slowly being pulled down to the floor.
She felt herself slowly being pulled to he floor as the gravity took over, making her way out to where he was to watch the process. Her eyes followed the rising meter and she waited for it to get to the normal level, which was going to take a while.
Zev was silent as she came back. He continued watching the meter for a moment, then pulled off his suit, and started walking around the ship, testing for holes.
“Any holes?” She asked through her suit, itching to just be able to wear her regular clothes without a suit over top. Food was calling her name as well and she just hoped she didn’t have to wait any longer to eat.
"Not yet. We shall see what happens as the pressure increases." He replied, shaking his head slightly. He continued walking.
Thesa nodded, trying to hide her impatience and boredom by looking around and taking note of all the things she remembered she should get for her ship. She knew there were a ton of things she wanted to get, but she forced herself to only focus on the essential.
Zev kept walking around, scanning for any holes. He hadn't seen any, and as the pressure slowly returned to normal, he wasn't seeing any form.
“Am I good to get out of my suit, space man?” She asked, purposely trying to use random and wacky nicknames for him. Her food was practically calling her name, begging her to go eat before she decided to make three pouches of food.
Zev hesitated. "Not yet." He replied. "The pressure is not fully back yet." He continued walking around the ship, checking for holes.
Thesa sighed but nodded, sitting down on the floor and looking around the familiar interior of her flying home. Almost every piece of the ship had been replaced from he original ship, but she still loved it, more so than her original that could barely fly.
After a few more minutes, Zev gave a sharp nod. "You can take your suit off. There are no holes." He told her, looking over at Thesa.
“Finally, thank you, blue eyes.” She quickly pulled her helmet off before standing up and taking her suit off, happy to just be back in her usual clothes and in a fixed ship. Carefully, she folded the suit up and wandered off to put it away before making her way to her kitchen to make herself some food. “Well then, now that my ship is in working order again, we can leave at any time and you can bring with whatever you need from your ship.”
Zev nodded. "I shall go grab a few items, then, and we can be on our way." He left the ship, heading onto the Daedalus. As he walked onto the old ship for probably the last time ever, he felt a…spark of something. Memory? …. nostalgia?" He wasn't sure what this was.
She nodded as he left, waiting impatiently for the water to boil and to eat. Soon they would be on their way to Horath, the scariest planet out there, but the cheapest and closest. Not to mention, the only place she could find the parts for her ship.
Zev looked around the ship, frowning slightly. "What is this?" He asked himself. "A glitch?"
As soon as the water boiled she made her food, a smile crossing her face once she could finally eat. She took up a spot on the edge of her bed and grabbed her book, opening it and starting to read while she ate.
He sighed, and grabbed the stuff he wanted to take with him, and headed back for Thesa's ship. Once there, he would let Alexi know that they were leaving the Daedalus.
