“That’s because we’re only human alright?” She shot back, slightly annoyed at him and his persistence to somehow prove her wrong or get her to trip up. “We change our ideals and values based on situations and people, plus justice is a shifty thing. Fair is what’s the best for both sides, what makes the most sense and is the most humane treatment.”

@ElderGod-Icefire

He frowned slightly. "Then…" He held up a hand, thinking. "Then some humans sense of "fair" is distorted. How else do you explain the massacres, and the wars throughout history, the lack of peace? If everyone agreed on what you have said, then these things would not happen." His head was still cocked to one side, as if he were a bird or something like that.

@gracehustle

“We all have a little bit distorted sense of fairness, but we’re not perfect,” She replied, standing up as she talked to give herself something to do, “All humans are never going to agree, it will never happen, and so we just adapt to people not agreeing completely and figure out ways to make things the best as we can for all involved parties.” Thesa couldn’t wait to get back to her ship and this hour seemed to be going by slower than a snail.

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev sighed, and nodded. "You're right, probably. You know humans better than i ever will." He shrugged slightly. They still had about thirty minutes before he could begin the pressurization process aboard her ship.

@gracehustle

Thesa shrugged, “You know more than I do about everything human related besides human reasoning, and with enough learning, you could probably get better with human reasoning as well.” She floated around the zero gravity interior of the ship and sighed, looking over at him, “What is it like? Being an Android?”

@ElderGod-Icefire

Zev nodded, then shrugged. He hesitated at her question. "I…am not sure what you mean. It is normal, for me. That is my life. I have never known anything different. What am i comparing it to?" He floated in place, watching her.

@gracehustle

She thought for a moment and sighed, shrugging, “I don’t know, it was a stupid question. I just thought it might’ve been comparable to something.” Thesa spun around in the air and did a small front flip in the ship.

@gracehustle

“Less crazy question, what was it like..what was Alexi like? Was he nice?” She looked over as him as she asked the question, “I mean, if you want to answer you can..if not, it’s fine too.” Her eyes flicked around and she looked up at the top of the ship.

@gracehustle

She nodded, trying to imagine Alexi anything but what he had described, “Was he nice to you?” At this point she was just talking both to learn about him and to pass the time.

@gracehustle

“Did you talk to any other Androids? Or people that Alexi knew?” She wondered if he had ever had a companion besides his creator, and she did count since she had only known him for a few days total.

@ElderGod-Icefire

"Other androids are…different. They cannot hold conversation very well." He replied. "And most people…I freaked out most people because they didn't realize i wasn't human until they were told." He shrugged.

@gracehustle

Thesa rolled her eyes and laughed, joking, “You can’t hold a conversation very well either, Zev.” She understood people freaking out by how human he looked, but even if she had been even more scared of him as an Android when they met, she would’ve still talked to him quite a lot.

@gracehustle

“Just…I don’t know, use less precise language, use abbreviations, relax a little and stop asking so many dang questions that make people trip up,” She replied, a smile on her face as she shrugged. Helping him talk more like a human would help him blend in when they reached Horath, she didn’t want to think of what would happen to him if he was found out as a robot. Most likely he would be scrapped and turned into parts.

@ElderGod-Icefire

He frowned slightly. "But…this is nearly exactly how Alexi would sometimes talk." He replied, brows crinkling. "I…don't understand why why I should." He said. "I am an Android. It is not my fault that that startles people."

@gracehustle

Thesa sighed and shook her head, “I’m sorry, Zev, but when we get to Horath, you need to act as human as possible. I have no power there and most of the scrappers will happily snatch up any Android they spot. If they got a hold of you…I’m not sure what would happen.”

@gracehustle

“Trust me, don’t let the scrappers know that you’re an Android. You look way different than any other model of android currently available, so chances are, they could get a hold of you, with or without the programming of other bodyguard models. They’re persistent. Plus if they found we are traveling together…” She trailed off, surprising herself as to how much she cared for Zev and didn’t want to see him get hurt. One failed run in with Horath traders and scrappers was enough to know that they didn’t play nice, and they have their own stash of androids to use as well. Modified ones.

@gracehustle

She shook her head, doing another flip in the air, “Two things could happen. One they would trash my ship and we would be stranded here, unable to get you to Alexi. Or two, they would completely wreck my ship, and then promptly kidnap you and leave me there with nothing to keep those..creeps..away.” Thesa was sure it sounded like she was just trying to save her own skin, but she was worried about him as well as the only thing she had to protect, her ship.

@gracehustle

“You don’t need to worry about a heartbeat unless someone actually has a hold on you, but breathing yes. At least when we get to the planet.” She looked around and focused on anything but him, almost ashamed that he had to act like a human if he wanted to survive.
