“You bet your hair I will,” and as he said that, the magic of the game gave him the blue shell. Seeing that Remi was currently at first place, he didn’t hesitate to use the item and letting it chase her down. “Tough luck there~“ he chuckled softly as the shell reached her.
"Don't worry, I'm far enough ahead it shouldn't make a difference." Remi laughed softly and continued on, winning the race soon after. "Mmm~… and here I thought that you were good at games. Guess I was wrong, hmm? Happens sometimes."
He made a soft ‘tsk’ sound and rolled his eyes. “Shut up, we still have three more tracks left. Don’t get so cocky yet, yeah?” …
Three More Tracks Later…
He sighed long and relatively loudly, massaging his temples a bit after realizing that the heroine won first place four of four times. “How the hell are you so good at this…”
"Well, you see, I had to try and beat my brother at this when we were growing up. And he was really good, so I just had to get better than him." Remi grinned cheekily, seeming quite pleased with herself. "It was a pain just to get him to let me play, honestly."
(This is why I hate homeworkkkkkk~~)
“I see now…” He sighed and looked over at her, reaching behind him to get the pillow cushion he had on the couch and throwing it at her with not too much force. “That’s what you get for making me upset,” he pouted and turned away from her, crossing his arms.
"And you being upset is what you get for being a whiny little bitch boy instead of an adult." Remi shrugged a bit as she started up another grand prix. "You guys really gotta get better at taking a loss. Especially since you're villains and villains never really seem to win."
He rolled his eyes and smiled softly. For some reason, being insulted by her made him feel something. He didn’t know what but that was what he was feeling at least.
“You’re going down this time,” he spoke as he sat back up straight, actually enjoying this period of time they were spending together.
"Y'know? Somehow I doubt it." Remi snickered again and started up the race, throwing items at Anthony whenever she got the opportunity. She was winning again this time, to no one's surprise. "You gotta practice more."
Anthony was obviously a bit upset about losing at the game again. He sighed and turned to look at her with a rather nice smile this time around. He set his controller down on the couch before he lunged himself at her softly, getting a hold on her cheeks and pinching them slightly. The pinching stopped soon, turning to just a cupping on her cheeks.
“Care to help me practice?” He asked, his voice was, for once, not annoyed.
"You've got an interesting way of asking questions." Remi mused, her voice a bit muffled from Anthony holding onto her face. She grabbed onto his hands with both of her own and pulled them off of her cheeks. "But yeah, sure. Why not?"
“Nice,” he sat back up and sighed. Well, that didn’t quite work the way he wanted it to. He was planning on making her at least a bit embarrassed, curious as to how she would react. Apparently, that didn’t work…
“Can we go with 100cc instead?” He was asking about the game.
"Ugh, fiiiine." Remi switched the speed to 100cc and set up her character again. "What tracks do you wanna do?" She asked dryly. "I know how to do most of these other than the really new ones, so…"
“Rainbow Road is fine,” he spoke, dangling his legs a bit as the race started. To be honest, he wasn’t sure how long they’d be playing for but… he was quite certain that he was going to enjoy the time with her.
Time skip?
(Uhmmmm… the evening maybe?)
(Alrighty uhhh)
(Like dinner? Or some plot thing?)
(Maybe just a bit before dinner?)
(Alrighty)
"Hey! You eat, right?" Remi called out from the kitchen. "I'm making food, so what do you want? We don't have a lot of options and I'm not that great of a cook, so there's a pretty good chance that I can't make whatever it is you want."
“Honestly? Instant noodles or something like that is fine,” he replied, trying to beat one of the most confusing dungeons of the ever famous green swordsman game on his console. He was struggling, that much was clear. He looked over at her and put his controller down, seemingly giving up. “What do you want to make? Need any help?” He asked, ready to move up from the couch if he was needed.
"Ramen works for me, and no, I don't need your help. You're welcome to continue sucking at your game while I make dinner." Remi snickered a bit as she filled pot with water, which she then set on the stove to boil.
He smiled softly at her words, standing up and walking over to the kitchen space. He stood just behind her before turning to the fridge. “Should I make some soft boiled eggs and some garnishes as well?” He asked, already taking out the eggs and some other things like seaweed, scallions, and raw chicken thighs with their skin still on. He had an idea of what he wanted to make.
"You can do whatever the hell you want, but I can make the noodles by myself." Remi grabbed a couple packets of Ramen out of the pantry and tossed them into the boiling water. Once they were in, she grabbed a few spices to add. "Hope you like it hot, pretty boy."
(Hey, can I stalk? Sorry for interrupting…)
(You don't have to ask to stalk things lol)
