"Oh, please… if you haven't got any friends, do you really expect me to? Who in the world would I tell all of your dirty little secrets to, hmm?" Remi tilted her head to the side a bit, snowflakes still occasionally falling around her. "Here, I'll start." She cleared her throat and straightened up a bit. "I have an older brother, and he's got some nifty powers too. I'm just objectively better than him in like, every way. Your turn!" She grinned cheekily up at Cassius.
He was confused at first, very much so as well but he eventually shrugged to himself and…
“I used to study architecture but turned to medical realized too late that I don’t understand how basic physics work… your turn…? I guess?” He was honestly trying his best not to let his overwhelming urge of pushing her away get the best of him. He was afraid that he was going to end up, dare he said it, liking the heroine more than he wanted to.
"Oooh~" Remi seemed to actually be paying attention this time and was no longer pacing. "I didn't go to college, and I probably won't ever! I'm way too busy with all this hero shit. And at my age, I'd have to be there for a few more years anyway and I'm not really feeling that. I technically went to highschool, though, even if I didn't do too well. Your turn!"
She was quite energetic, this he had noted. Was he feeling at all weirded out by it? Absolutely. Did he mind? Not really. After all, it’s not everyday that he would be able to talk with someone like this. He sighed and sat down on the rooftop’s floor.
“I don’t believe what I’m doing is wrong.” He spoke casually.
"Oh yeah? Why not? Murder is generally frowned upon in… uh… everywhere, but hey. I get it." Remi shrugged and flopped down beside Cassius. She made some snow on the ground in front of her and started doodling idly in it. "You should've become a real doctor. Then you could make lots of money and kill people super easy."
Cassius shook his head.
“It’s too obvious for my liking. Plus, I enjoy the thrill of chases as long as they don’t bring the helicopters into play,” he laughed softly at his own words, subconsciously doodling on a small heart on the snow below them before quickly wiping it away, turning away from her and biting his lower lip. “Uh… I love winter? I suppose?”
"Mm. I like winter too, but that's probably not too surprising." Remi yawned a bit and lay back on the roof with her arms crossed behind her head. "I don't really get cold, so… you know. I mean, I'm freezing to the touch. Taking showers is a nightmare, but hey, I don't wanna smell bad. Just gotta have the water hot as Hades' ass crack."
He tried his best to hold in his laugh when she spoke of how hot the water had to be. “H-Hades’ ass crack—“ he let out a smirk before he started laughing softly. “Oh dear… uhm. I suppose that means you can’t take baths then? Not that that really matters—“ oh, it definitely mattered because he just had a thought of his own home with had a bathtub… he’s definitely not bringing that up, that would just be extremely embarrassing on his part.
"Not really, no. Even if I can control my powers, I can't keep my body from being cold as fuck, so the water always chills down and gets frosty after a while. If I stay in too long, the whole damn bath freezes. That's… a lot more hours with a hairdryer than I'd like to admit…" Remi laughed weakly. "But at least I always smell minty fresh! It's kind of my thing."
“I see, I see,” it just occurred to him now that he was talking to a heroine who could potential arrest him at any point during the conversation. He wanted to leave, yet a part of him wanted to stay. At least for a bit more.
“Hmm… do you have anyone you hate?” He asked casually as if it was a common thing to ask someone.
"Hate? No, not really." Remi shrugged a bit. "Maybe my ex boyfriends and girlfriends, but eh. Hopefully they're better people now, yeah?" She grinned a bit and stared up at the sky, which still had a few snowflakes in it. "I used to date around a lot. Most of them just wanted me for my body or because I was a hero."
Cassius nodded as she spoke. “I see… so does that mean you’re single now?”
…
He immediately regretted asking that question… he could sense danger a thousand miles away after the question was asked. If she was being as daring as she was earlier… he’s going to be in trouble.
"Mhmm. Why, you interested?" She asked with a smirk. She yawned a bit and toyed with a lock of her hair. "It's been a while since I've dated anyone, you know. I'm terribly busy with this whole hero thing and people don't like that much. But I suppose you're busy too, aren't you?"
“I didn’t say I was interested in you—“ he said, then immediately regretted it again. He didn’t want it to come out as blunt as it did but what could he really do. He turned away from her and sighed. “I also didn’t say I was busy either…” he muttered under his breath, averting his eyes so that he wasn’t looking at her.
Remi snickered a bit to herself, still staring up at the sky as she hummed idly to herself. "Hmm. When was the last time you dated anyone, anyway?" She asked curiously. "Guy or girl, doesn't matter to me. They both count." She shrugged a bit.
“N-Never…” he sighed softly, shrugging and shaking his head.
“Life of a medical student I would say,” he laughed softly at his own joking tone as he spoke. It was true. He had never dated anyone before and didn’t exactly plan to date anyone either. Did he want to though? Oh, definitely.
"Oh, come now. No one?" Remi looked over at Cassius, almost surprised. "I've dated tons of people. More than I can count. Like I said, they were all pretty useless though. You're attractive, I'm sure you could find somebody if you hid the fact that you're a villain and kill people."
Attractive? Did she just call him attractive? She did…
“I… I gotta go…” he spoke softly as he slowly stood up and turned away from her, trying to hide his red face. God, it was hard to not blush at her when she was saying such things so easily…
Remi rolled her eyes a bit. "Really? I was literally alluding to sex earlier and me informing you that you're not so hard on the eyes is what makes you need to leave. You go have fun with that, darling. Stay out of trouble~" She blew him a kiss and slid down the side of the building down to the ground to get back on her motorcycle.
What surprised him more than the flying kiss was the fact that she hadn’t mentioned of getting him reported nor was she implying that she would do something like that. She seemed to be fine with his crimes which was honestly pretty strange. The whole situation was strange. He sighed and walked down the stairs tiredly, trying his best to stop his heart from beating so quickly. Why was it beating in the first place? He wouldn’t know but… he didn’t exactly hate it.
(Time skip?)
(I kinda wanna see the comedic scene of those two’s reaction to ‘having a new student’ and she just walks in XD I know she said she probably won’t take the class but it’d be damn funny. If not, maybe we can have it so that she finds out that she lives in the same apartment as one of them, probably Anthony because I haven’t used him as much— idrk, just ideas)
(Hmm, I think an apartment thing could be fun! I would do the classes one, but she isn't really planning to do college lol)
(Right uh… I’m kinda busy atm so if you wanna start the scene, you can do so right away!)
(Alrighty!)
Remi went and fetched her keys from her new landlord and headed up to the apartment she was now living in. She didn't have many possessions to her name, so she was just dragging a single large suitcase filled primarily with clothes behind her. She unlocked the door of her apartment and went inside, immediately flopping down on the couch. She knew that she was going to have a roommate, but she didn't know who.
