She pulled away, and didnt say anything. She just stayed in his arms, "that was nice." Ki told him in a quiet voice. "i just don't want to start anything that we can't finish." Kiera looked up him, already wanting to kiss him again. She honestly missed the warmth that she received from him. There were now words to describe how that kiss felt. Or how she felt afterwards.
He felt her pull away and stared down at her face, he held her in his arms enjoying her warmth and also missing it.
"I wouldn't describe it as nice, but I suppose it was."
He listened to her speak. 'i don't want to start anything we can't finish' it rung in his head. Did she not…want this? What did she mean by that truly? His emotions were so jumbled and mixed up, he didn't know what to think accept how he enjoyed and missed her warmth. …Had she not enjoyed it?
Why did he care so much?
"What's that supposed to mean?" His face softened, just a little bit.
She looked up at him, "I just dont want it to lead to other things. Just yet. I enjoyed it. A lot actually." Kiera dropped her gaze from his face back to his lips and back to his face. She wanted to do it again, but didn't want hims to feel pressured to. "trust me I want this, I just dont want to rush into things."
She looked down at her, glancing at her lips before looking back into her eyes as she spoke and then dropped her gaze down.
"I suppose I can understand." He tried not to revert back to being cold faced but he felt as if he was being rejected. It stung in ways he didn't know possible. He noticed as she gazed at his lips as he had done to hers, then drifting up to his face.
"Your sending mixed signals here Ki," He leaned down staring into her eyes.

"I uh, just dont want to rush things. I dont want to rush right into the intimate part of things. I want to spend time with you and enjoy it." She said softly, "But I enjoyed kissing you, a lot. I'm just not ready for bedroom stuff yet." Ki had gotten nervous again, her hand starting to play with her sweater hem. "I really want to kiss you again." Ki looked at him, "if you'd let me."
He paused, letting the information soak into him being saying something brash. he inhaled and exhaled looking down at her.
"I understand. I wouldn't want to rush things either, its good we get to know each other first." He noticed her nervous fidgeting with her hemstrings. "Althouh i do not know what bedroom stuff means we can wait to do it." he looked down into her eyes.
"One more, last one." he told her before leaning down and pressing his lips on hers.
She ignored his statements, and leaned into the kiss. Ki didnt want it to end. He was like a summer evening, and the stars just starting to show. She stayed as close as she could so the kiss wouldn't end. Kiera enjoyed the contact and she hoped that he did as well.
He didnt want it to end as well, keeping her close to him.
Then the door creaked open, one of the members. they recognized her from the station, having been in that area.
"Boss?"
He groaned, pulling away from away from her and turning towards the recuit blushing, but trying to remain emotionless.
"Does anyone in this place know to knock? What is so important?" he growled at them.
"Um, no, it can wait, you enjoy time with your girlfriend." They gave a sly smile shutting the door. He let out a frustrated groan.
She rolled her eyes and giggled, "Ahh yes, Mr. Boss man. I can let you get to work if needed." Ki still missed his warmth of his lips though, but she let it be. She leaned into him, enjoying his presence. "They should learn how to knock at least. I think that should be your next goal." She smiled.
"i thought knocking was just common sense," He huffed almost pouting.
"I guess i will have them re-learn it." he sighed, letting her lean on him, putting an arm around her.
"I really don't want to work, but i should probably take you home." He sighed once more looking down at her, as she looked up at him.
"I could help." She said softly, "I dont have to work tomorrow so I could try and help you out." Kiera didnt want to go home, she liked being with him. But if he wanted her to leave she would. "But you dont have to let me stay."
"I want you to stay i just…I don't want you to loose sleep because of me, i couldn't live with myself if something bad happened to you while you were here." He looked down at her genuinely concerned and actually showing emotion for once wow.
"I doubt you could help anyway."
"Okay." She nodded, she put herself in the mindset of going home. Ki checked the time, "Well I guess I have to climb up the side of the house to get in." She smiled at him. "Thank you."
"why would you have to climb up the side of the house? cant you just walk in?" He frowned, tilting his head just a tad bit.
"if its about your aunt and uncle i suppose you could stay just a tad bit longer." he hummed not wanting her in trouble more so then she would be.
"Its okay. One its fun and two their asleep and they have alarms and stuff around the door." She told him, "I wont be in trouble, just them yelling at me as I walk out the door." Ki looked at him, "I'll be fine, I usually stay in my room and read or clean it. Then I go out for a couple hours and then come back and live in my room. Dont worry. They just aimlessly yell at me thinking that they are doing something to me." Kiera held his hand again, "Plus they can't really do anything to me. I'm pretty solid at home. They dont touch my emotions." Ki had told him much more about her life than anyone else. "And I should probably get some sleep if I plan to wake up early and go visit my parents."
"Hm I suppose your right. Wellyou know you can call or text me if they ever try a step up from yelling at you, okay?" He opened the door for her,
"Oh and I'm walking you back no arguing." He walked out of the room holding the door for her.
"doubt they would. Their too old to care really." She told him. "Alright, alright." She followed after him. Ki stayed silent, not much to really say.
He stayed silent as well, leading her out the back exit. He didn't have much to say either as he walked her all the way back to her house, with her help.
"Night."
"Good night Dus." She smiled at him, right before she began scaling the side of the house and into her window.
He walked back to his base.
He glared at anyone that dare speak to him or even suggest something of what happened earlier clearly not in the mood for anyones bullcrap that night.
He was relieved although sad, he didn't want her to find out how terrible of a person he was. If she had stayed to help then she might as well have. Then he would be left by her, all alone.
He was used to being alone, bu all of sudden it seemed suffocating.
Like he couldn't breathe at the thought of being alone again.
He would deal with it.
No one likes when people are too clingy.
He sighed, sitting at his desk.
He looked at the job request on his desk.
he couldnt let her find out.
(This do be getting sad.) Once she was in her room she sat her desk, looking at the new paper work she had. Arrest reports, files to sign, plenty of papers she didnt want to deal with. Kiera thought about Dustin, what if the chief wants her to backstab him. Don't think like that. She sighed and began to organize her desk. And then she searched for her vape. "Shit…" She mumbled and then crawled back out the window, she needed it. So she would go get a new one.

He suited up. He put his hair up in a man bun, grabbing two pistol like guns and strapping them to a holster on each thigh.
He hated this part, but they needed keep a steady flow of income.
He made sure to hide a knife on his body somewhere, covering himself in black clothing, as too blend in with the night.
He covered up his mouth and nose with a black thin mask.
He sighed, he hated this more then words could express.
More then the thought of her leaving him. Stop thinking about her, distractions will get you caught. or worse.
Siging for what was probably the third time he exited the base.
He made into the neighborhood, the same one Kei lived in somehow. He walked past the house, seeing her inside and hesitating before seeing her come out and hiding and running away, knocking over a trash can in the process but not noticing.
Focus!
Ki heard a noise but brushed it off, thinking it was one of the stray dogs. Her anxiety was already bad enough with her vape but now with a day with it gone she felt terrible. Not the same. "Stupid Nicotine addiction." She muttered as she headed for a house. It happened to be her ex best friends house. Jenny sold pens, for cheap. And Ki needed one. As she got to the house she noticed it was busier than normal. Then the music caught her attention. "Of course Jen has a party right now.." Kiera rolled her eyes and made her way to the back yard.
(Wouldn't it be convenient for hm to go to that party lol.)

He stalked into the party, he of course had clothes to blend in with the party. Hiding his pistol like guns, under his clothing.
He entered into the party, he hated nicotine and meth and drugs in general.
He hated the smell, hated the affects and hate how it made people addicted and then killed them.
He made his way through the backyard, searching for the face of his target. He didn't want or expect to find lei's face.
He found himself staring at her, she was looking around aggiatedly, probably to get another pen.
He sighed, it just wouldn't let go would it.
He lingered a bit too long letting his hair drop into a pony tail, instead of a man bun.
He found his target, and his hand went too his side as he approached her.

He got up close to her and smiled softly and Seductively at her. "Hey girl."
