"Oh yes you could have done all of that and come back under a minute." He spoke, his statement dripping with sarcasm.
"With all the water surrounding it? I will have to pass on the health hazard." He spoke looking forward, watching the birds fly around. "I havent really thought about a place to go for vacation, always only thought aboout what would be best for the mafia. I guess somewhere wit beaches would be nice."
She shook her head, at his first statement. "The water calms me. to hear the waves crash against the beach is super calming to me." She told him. Kiera had always loved the beach, but as she grew older, she started to appreciate them. "Yeah I understand. You play a big part for them."
"Well i suppose everyone needs that one place they can escape too even if for a little bit, something that calms them." he cringed internally at a thought he had. You are my one place- oh my goodness shut up. he sighed.
"Yeah I guess I do."
She hummed in agreement. Kiera buried her head in his coat, breathing in his scent. Oddly calming she thought. "We all play important parts. Like me to you and you to me. We have different thoughts of each other but we're all important." She sighed happily, "I wish I could be a bird. Their free and can fly where ever they want."
"Being able to fly would be nice, However a birds life span is shorter then a humans, i think i would rater suffer though life with someone i love then live a short life and maybe never find the person i desire." he said as he gazed at the birds flying around.
"For once your right." she said as she looked down at her boots. "I would rather suffer through life with someone I loved than live a short life." Ki looked at him, "You do have a way with words sometimes. You secretly a poet?" and gave him a small smile.
"for once? Ouch." He looked over at her, a bit wounded. "I am not secretly a poet I just…I have a different way at looking at things I guess." He shrugged although seeming to be hiding something
"You write?" She asked, curious now. "Man we don't really know much about each other." Ki leaned her head on his arm, liking the way it felt before. She still watched the birds dive and hide from each other.
"I never said that I wrote Ms assumes everything" he huffed.
"but I do write sometimes, it's a good stress reliever." He huffed like he had something to hide, or like it was bad. It was seen as weak to write poetry. "I guess we really don't.'
She nodded, "It is." She spoke softly. And as time ticked by she grew more and more tired. Soon enough she shut her eyes and fell asleep on his arm.
"Ki? Ki?" He poked her asking her twice. He noticed how she didn't respond to anything he asked. He sighed,
did she seriously just fall asleep? I don't even know where she lives dang it. He sighed aggitatedly.
He picked her up bridal style and stood up. He looked down at her, before starting to walk out of the park.
He eventually snuck her through the back entrance of her base. Sneaking up to his room, and laying her down on his bed. He tucked her into the bed and tried to move away from the bed.
Ki woke up, not sure what was going on. then she realized, "OMIGOSH I AM SO SORRY!" Kiera panicked. "you can uh…put me down…" She nervously spoke to him.
He flustered up bright red, immediately reached a hand to cover his face and block his extremely flustered face from her way.
"O-oh you woke u-up….I thought you might stay asleep so I brought you back to base…" He cleared his throat but it clearly wasn't working very well, he was still having issues with his voice. He stood up and looked away.
She was still trying to wake up and didn't notice his voice. "I'm sorry.." She felt bad, "You could've just woke me up." Ki looked around. Not sure what to expect but what she envisioned this wasn't it. "Uhm…Do you want me to uh go?"
no He bit down on his lip to keep the answer inside of him.
"I mean…only if you want to." Stop being so clingy gosh darn it Dustin. He cursed chiding himself inwardly. He put a hand on his neck and keeping the other on his face to keep his still red face.
"Sorry, not exactly clean. wasn't expecting…company." stop being weird you big freaking idiot his words had become simpler and shorten.
"Its your place…I dont want to intrude." KI told him, part of her wanting to stay. "Its fine, my room isnt the cleanest either." is he blushing? no he's to tough to put out emotion towards me right now. Ki looked at him, "So you dont have to answer this but did you ever you know…think about my offer?"
"you wouldn't been intruding on much besides paperwork." He tried his best to hide away his face from her sight, staying partially turned away but still wanting to look at her.
"I could imagine, I wonder what your desk looks like." He tut tuted, please don't get up close please don't get up close he cleared his throat at the mention of the business deal.
"I did actually, I gave it thought. It was better to think about then doing homework." Because I was talking about you- Agh just shut up. He flustered more.
Ki looked at her attire and saw that she still had his coat on, so she took it off. "I uh…I believe this is yours." She couldn't look at him. After all she began to blush as soon as she noticed she was wearing it. She handed it to him but didn't look at him. "Oh? What'd you come up with?" She asked, "Its actually not organized yet. I had a bit of a panic with paperwork and finding stuff so its all messed up."
He took the coat from her, taking a hand away from his face and his hand from his neck to hold and ring the jacket a little bit instead turning and hanging up the jacket on a chair.
He turned towards her and looked down at her, wanting a hug. you already hugged her, stoping being so gash darn clingy, goodness dustin! You never were like this before! He sighed inwardly, puting a hand to his neck still flustered like crazy.
"Nothing big, just what you said in originality."
He looked at her, staring almost although he hardly noticed.
"Yeah. But like whats your stance on it." She asked. Finally looking at him, no eye contact though. She still had a light flush on her face but she didnt care. "I dont want to make this seem awkward or anything but can I get a hug? You give good ones." Kiera told him.
"my stance? I think it's a good proposition, it could definitely work although I don't know if I trust you not to eat us out." He was honestly a bit overjoyed at the suggestion of a hug but calmed himself down to not look like it.
"I guess." He walked closer to her and hugged her close to home maybe a bit much but if you could read body language he was enjoying it.
"I wasn't away I give good hugs."

"their very cozy…" She spoke softly into the hug. Kiera looked up at him, "I trust you enough. I want you to be able to trust me. It could be believable. But your team better know that I'm off limits. I'm not trying to get shot." She leaned into him, "Thank you for today."
"oh don't worry, I placed you in the no harm list after our first meeting." He hugged her tight to him but trying not to be too clingy or tight.
"Yes, well, I suppose I should thank you myself. I didn't think I could relax or learn to relax, possibly have someone to talk to outside of work before and it's been…….nice."
