A smile tugged at the corner of Leo's lips and he took up the offer, sliding his hand into Elijah's, "Alright then, if you insist."
A smile tugged at the corner of Leo's lips and he took up the offer, sliding his hand into Elijah's, "Alright then, if you insist."
"I do insist, otherwise I would not have said it." Elijah grasped his hand and pulled Leo to his side. He didn't quite let go of it though."
Leo didn't let go, either. He leaned back into the couch, smiling a bit wider, "Makes sense. My brain is currently in holiday mood so I'm a bit slow, sorry."
"Holiday mood? What holiday is it? I dont remeber having celebrations at this time of year?" Elijah asked him.
"Well, I go to university, which is basically adult school. The uni goes on break this time of year." Leo explained.
Elijah understood somewhat. Though he didn't remeber havinf much break time from his private tutors. He squeezed his hand in response.
Leo blushed a little and squeezed his hand back, "Would you like to watch a movie?"
Elijah looked at him strangely. "What is this 'movie?'" He asked. The corner of his lips turned upwards at the blush.
"It's a-a collection of moving pictures th-that tell a story." Leo blushed even further and pushed his glasses up his nose.
Elijah had never been more confused. "What?" Moving pictures? What was a picture?
"Um," Leo looked around from a photo and let go of Elijah's hand to pick one up, "This is a picture, so like a painting only its taken using a camera or a phone," He pointed to the phone on the table, "and they move, like us… but on a screen." He then pointed to the TV.
"None of those words make any sense." Elijah said bluntly. All of this new information and strange things was making his head hurt.
Leo sighed softly, wishing he was better at explaining, "Sorry… I-I don't know how else to explain it…"
Elijah squeezed his hand again. "It is not your fault. Perhaps I will learn your strange things in time." He tried to brighten his mood.
Leo huffed a small laugh and he nodded slightly, "Yeah, maybe you will," He sighed again, "You might not understand it but would you be willing to give the movie a go? If not then… I-I dunno, I could get a book or something."
Elijah shrugged. "You can do this 'movie' I do not care." He said. He had finally let his hand go, but only because he had become fascinated with his hair. He ran his hand through the soft locks.
Leo bit his bottom lip, hard, turning a deep shade of red. He tried not to lean into his hand but he did a little, only because he couldn't help it.
Elijah moved so he sat behind him on the couch, his legs on either side of Leo. He started messing with his hair.
Leo leaned back into Elijah, giving into the temptation of leaning into every movement he made. He was shorter and not as muscular as Elijah, but they were like two pieces of a puzzle the fit together.
"Are you doing the 'movie' or not?" Elijah asked. He didn't see anything on the thin black box he had pointed at erailer where he said it was be.
"Hm? Oh, y-yeah." Leo leaned forward to pick up the remote before leaning back into Elijah again, flicking the TV on.
Elijah jumped back as the box came to life. "Ah, sorcery!" He yelled and frantically looked for a weapon.
"Elijah!" Leo gabbed his wrist, pushing him back down onto the couch and practically sitting on his lap, "Calm down… please."
Elijah looked at Leo wide eyed. He warranting heavily. He had had enough witchcraft to last him a lifetime. He didn't want to be involed in anymore. "Leo." He whimpered.
Leo turned the TV off before resting his forehead against Elijah's. he rested his hand against his cheek, rubbing his thumb in soft circles, "It's okay.. I'm here.."
