I really like these ones that I found that are basically old-timey British boarding school mysteries with a sort of Sherlock and Watson, they're really good and have actual murders (unlike a lot of MG mysteries I've read) but I can't remember what they're called…

You know those stories where there's some fantasy girl in the modern world and the guy has to take her shopping for modern clothes? And he always goes to department stores that are super expensive? No that's too much money. I want one where he takes her to Walmart because it's cheaper "This is Walmart. Ignore the people, they're kinda weird. But they have everything and it's cheap." Because he's literally a teenager and has no money

I love ships where one person seems super soft and sweet and the other seems like a brooding badass and then you meet them and they're the exact opposite.

Please stop plugging Magnus Chase whenever someone mentions something, it's getting annoying

Sorry. I was just giving an example of a protagonist who’s left-handed? But sorry

Apology accepted, it's just annoying for you to reply with MaGnUs cHaSe whenever someone mentions 1 thing about diverse casts.

Hmm… I've always wondered why left-handed characters are such a rarity. I believe it's around 10% of the population that's left-handed, and honestly that seems like a lot more than we have represented. Then again, maybe more are left-handed than we realize. It's not like most people consciously notice when others are left-handed, and it seems like a sort of weird thing to bring up unless someone is complaining about being left-handed or it fits the situation otherwise.

My parents both thought I was left handed but I'm not lol
I mean, I'm pretty skilled at doing stuff with it, just not writing/drawing. I can throw and catch with it ok though.

I'd like to see functional relationships. Seriously you don't see a lot of those these days.

@HighPockets group

Yes please!
Honestly I wouldn't have an issue with unhealthy relationships if they were presented as unhealthy and the story was about how the relationship is bad for the characters. Instead we get ships that are based on abuse pushed as OTPs and #goals.

@Becfromthedead group

And can said functional relationships not all just be a bunch of teenagers? I'm sick of teen romance, and as I get older, I sometimes find it creepy that it's adults writing some of the stuff we find in YA.

Most of my characters in deep, functional relationships are adults. And honestly, I can't sacrifice the character to make a relationship work, I have to sacrifice a relationship for the characters.

I am left handed…. Just kinda sickening to me that in literally every single book that I've read that not even one single character was left handed…. You'll notice the same thing in tv shows and movies….
