I made it through a few, but then I couldn't find audiobooks and I refuse to sit down and waste my time and precious eyeballs doing nothing but reading that trash

The stupid good girl falls in love with the bad boy.
Can we have a good boy falls in love with bad girl.
Or at least some good romance plot.

Low stakes romance if you get my meaning. Like, not a rushed passionate affair. Not just a slow burn. A relationship that slowly blossoms based on mutual genuine friendship.

That too

I really hate when we have a romance, and it builds slowly over the story until the characters are finally together….
Only for some last-minute plot device to undo all of it for ~tension~.
Bonus points if the plot device is a third love interest

I love a good betrayal, but a good one. I've seen a lot of real bad ones, and I'm not a huge fan of it being immediately excused as like, an act to get something (although sometimes it's just the way things absolutely have to happen. I guess)

Yeah, I agree. A good betrayal is one where you go "I should've seen that coming!", not one where you go "oh, I guess that's okay" or one where you see it coming from a mile away.
Good example: Kylo briefly betraying Snoke after we see him start to question his beliefs in The Last Jedi
Bad example: Tris's brother betraying her because Reasons in Divergent, then making up, then betraying her again, rinse and repeat

IT OPENED UP SO MANY PLOTHOLES WITH THE WORLDBUILDING! Like, I can suspend my disbelief enough to say "yeah I guess Chicago is doing it's own thing" but the whole "oooooh it was a social experiment all along!" thing was a cop-out. It's like Roth saw people criticizing her worldbuilding and was like "I'll show them!" And then she made it worse..

Anyone feeling like Oracle figures always talk in this mistic and old language?

With the vocabulary nowadays, id be intrigued to see an Oracle talking in slang
