Staring up at the constellations, Duxe began to point each one out and say it's name. I listened quietly to his handsome voice and the crackle of the fire slowly led me to sleep.
“If it were up to me, I would’ve eaten you by now.”
She buried her face in his shoulder letting everything out, all the pain, the loss, the betrayal, the loneliness and the fear.
Passers-by didn’t stop to wonder why this woman was crying. What did it matter? They didn’t know her. She was probably crazy. And so they kept walking, and life went on, and his ended, and hers came to a stop.
It seemed to flinch backwards, as if the sudden heat seemed to surprise it.
Is it wrong that I get inspiration from your lines?
“The Republic Of Qereni!” Someone started chanting, and more voices welled in together into making that horrifying patriotic chant.
Onyx walked down the hall to Ireabella. "Belle." She said calling Belle's attention.
"Um yeah your highness?"
"I know you're dating my brother."
"What?! Nope." Belle said with her voice getting a bit of a higher pitch.
"Sweetie… I'm lesbian, not blind." Onyx replied to her with a wink then walked down the hallway letting her cloak flow behind her making the armor she wore look elegant.
“I’m fine,” he said as he wiped tears from his eyes.
Fuck. Fuckity fuck fuck fuck.
His boyfriend was flying.
On a broomstick.
Outside his window.
"Damien, I can explain-" began Astro, but Damien had crumpled to the floor in a dead faint.
"Oh dip. Well, how will I explain this now?"
Empirean realized something; he had no sight in his right eye.
"Please, Miss Micheal, I mean you no harm. Why can't you see that?" His soft voice spooked me again. It was haunting…slowly seeping into my mind… Maybe he isnt bad? What if he is trying to help?
"Listen babes, we both want the same thing. So stick with me and trust me, we'll get out of the Dome much faster."
"He's totally checking you out." Brie whispered to Grayle. And Eris was, his mouth open slightly, lips damp from the coffee he'd spit out in blatant shock.
"I know. That is the point, Brie, pay attention."
"Letting people in will always disappoint you; take it from someone who knows."
"What the hell are you doing?" He shouted at Tolkalee.
"I am re-configuring the wall in a way that gives us a door," Tolkalee responded distractedly.
"YOU BLEW OUT THE WHOLE WALL!"
"Oral fixation? You seriously said-" sniggered Brie. "You little shit.." Eris growled, blush spreading. "It's what I do best." she grinned.
(It's a weird dentist thing don't ask)
An awakening.
He wouldn’t die for another two months, she wouldn’t be born for another twenty four years, and wouldn’t have started talking to him for another few years after that.
He shook his head and muttered, “That’s absolutely disgraceful,” before heading out into the square.
He flicked the lighter on again, and brought the flame to his skin. The burn brought tears to the corner of his eyes, it felt so good. The pain, the satisfaction, the colours of flushed red turning to great blooming dark crimson welts, then turning charcoal at the edges as skin burned away. It would heal back within a day, he knew it, but for now all that mattered was the shimmering agony.
"What the fuck-Grayle!!" Brie said, running across the roof to him. "What the fuck are you doing? Celia, get up here, we need to-" her tongue fused with the roof of her mouth.
"Don't call for her, Brie. I'm fine. The spell will wear off in about 45 seconds, but you should leave either way. Don't talk to me."
She gave him a look that said, Fuck. No.
"Go away. I don't need you.
Clearly you do, said her expression.
Silence. Grayle turned around, and sat at the edge of the building. "It's quiet up here. I like that." he murmured.
She could speak again, and she had quite a lot to say.
"You aren't okay, you bastard! You just burned your whole arm, goddamnit! Please, just come inside and let us fix that, we need to talk."
"No we don't. Do you want me to mute you permanently?"
"You wouldn't do that. I'm the only one allowed to kill you over stupid shit! You can't do that to yourself!" Brie screamed, sobbing hideously.
"You're suppose to be dead!" she snapped, glaring at him in disbelief.
"Well unfortunately for you, Death and I don't get along. We prefer not to cross paths," he shrugged.
"What could you possibly have done to make Death avoid you?" she looked even less believing.
"Well, after I beat him into submission in front of Hades he decided it wasn't worth humiliation to bring me in." He pulled out his sword and faced her. "Shall I show you what went down?"
The warmth caught Scales attention first, it was spreading through her limbs loosening her joints allowing movement to return to her fingers and toes. The second this to come to her attention was the noise, someone was whistling and muttering to themselves at the same time, a faint bubbling noise could be here bringing with it the overwhelmingly strong smell of, Scale bolted upright, food.
" Disgusting, I love it"
