" i didn't believe it myself " she said her backpack almost falling off her shoulders but she caught it before it hit the ground

"Well, I don't think any of us really do. But if this is a dream, then we're taking you to see everyone while we the chance." Thomas insisted, stopping at the door of one of the room's. "I'm pretty sure he's in there… you want to see him, right?" He asked softly, still holding on to her hand tightly. He was afraid if he let it go, she would disappear forever.
" of course I do" she said looking at the door this was her room where she went to study or write read or cry her books were in there her blanket was in thereher leather jacket her promise ring
Thomas nodded with a soft smile, placing a soft kiss on her cheek. "Holler if you need anything." Thomas told her, before slowly walking off to give her privacy. In the room, Brad had picked himself off the floor and was slumped in one of the chairs. He had her promise ring and fiddled with it silently, as he attempted to read one of the books that had been on the shelf.
She slowly opened the door "B-Brad?" She asked her voice trembling, honestly scared he'd forgotten her or was no longer in love with her
His mind was elsewhere at the moment, and he barely looked up from the book he was scanning over. "Hmm? Can I help you?" Brad asked, setting the open book down face first on the table. He turned his head to face her, a ghost of a smile pulled up on his lips.
She walked over to him and got on her knees in front of him. She grabbed his wrists and looked into his eyes as his jacket and backpack hung off her
As she did so, his smile faded slowly while his brows dipped in. "I- um… do I know you from somewhere?" Brad asked weakly, trying to blink away what he was seeing. It was impossible, he was considering himself delusional at the moment. The girl looked like Caroline, but to him that was clearly impossible. She was dead, wasn't she? "You look…. familiar."
" I was dead for a week Brad " Caroline said beginning to stand up and walking out
'That's her alright….' Brad pushed himself up from the chair, beginning after her. "B-babe…" He whispered weakly, taking her arm to gently pull her back. "Come on, you have to cut me some slack. You were dead Caroline, in my logical world it's not exactly possible to come back." Brad pointed out, cupping her chin between his fingers. "Besides, I've been seeing your face in everyone. You can't blame me for not knowing it was actually you."
"usually when people see a dead friend they need some air I was just going to give it to you" she said
"Most the time when they see a dead friend, they're insane." Brad pointed out, pulling her back so he could study her face. "It's really you? Like, really, really you?" He whispered, his gaze focusing onto her lips. So badly he wanted to kiss her, but wanted to make sure it was her first.
"it's. Me Brad…I promise you " she said do you believe me?" She asked looking in his eyes
A smile pulled up on to his lips, and he leaned in pressing his forehead against hers. "I really want to. I just don't want to be crazy for believing something like that." He whispered, pulling her closer by the hips. "Do you believe me, when I say I've been a mess over the last few weeks?" He asked weakly, lightly pecking her lips.
"you have dark circles under your eyes your eyes are red and you have tear stains on your cheeks so yes I can believe that" she said
"Well, that's… that's not the only evidence." He mumbled, tracing her hips with one of his hands until he was cupping her cheek again. "But that's something for another time. Right now I need to figure out how to get your ring back." Brad sighed, pressing his lips on hers.
She pressed her lips to his "mhhh I've missed you, your voice , your eyes , your hair…your lips.
“I’ve missed you… never do that to me again.” Brad insisted, kissing her kid a few more times before pulling away. “Please, I won’t be able to handle it.” He mumbled, running her finger through her hair.
" I told you I wasn't going to leave you didn't I" she asked
Sighing softly, he nodded before burying his face into her shoulder with a smile. “I love you so much, I can’t believe you’re really here right now… I can’t process it.”
"I'm Here…Right here…And Im not going anywhere. . .Unless you want me to" she said stroking his hair
“Of course not baby-doll.” Brad whispered pressing a few soft kisses to her forehead. “There’s no one in the world that could replace you babe. No one.”
she smiled her soft loving smile she kissed him slowly before leaning her forehead against his
“I love you so much,” Brad said again, sighing weakly pulling her into a tight hug. “I’m just dumb struck, I really can’t understand how this is possible.”
She winced "ow" she whimpered in pain at the tightness of the hug
