Brad had a tight jaw, forcing himself to relax at her words. "I just lost part of myself." He whispered, his voice snapping a bit despite him trying not to. "Caroline was what held me together. She relaxed me when I was beyond the point of calming down. There's know way to explain what she was to me, that would make sense."

"we'll try damnit" she cursed losing her temper

"I am!" Brad cried out exasperated. "I've been trying to figure this out for forever. If I knew how to explain, I would tell you. But I don't know, so I can't. Unless you have a whole second set of vocabulary, I don't think there's any way to tell you."

She stood up " someone needs to tell Collins and Lily" Amber said

Brad pushed himself off the ground, sucking in a deep breath. "I will… can I have that ring?" Brad asked weakly, holding his hand out to Amber. Of course he was still sad, it killed him to think this was reality. But he needed to get over it fast, before he acted irrationally.

She handed to the ring to him with a sad smile.

Brad took it from her, barely forcing a smile up. His heart was aching, but he was trying to cover that up. "Thanks Amber…" Brad whispered, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead before walking out of the room in silence. Outside he went, finding Collins and Lilly sitting on the front steps. Collins was holding Lilly close, whispering softly to her. Both with tears in their eyes.

Amber sighed turning to the group " how you doing" she asked

Kaylee was in Lucas's arms, him attempting to soothe her. Sighing deeply, Jasper pushed his glasses back on his face. It was clear he was still trying to believe it. "Not great." Jasper admitted, pulling away from Emmy to go and hug Amber. "What about you?"

"I'll make it" she said

( Can we time skip to a week later and thier at the bar and Brad is fighting someone because they told him he should forget Caroline so they start fighting and Caroline walks in breaking it up

Jasper smiled weakly, pulling Amber into a hug with a sigh. "I'm really sorry…" He whispered, before pulling back from her. "I guess we're all just… just gonna be an emotional mess." Jasper tried to laugh, but broke down in to tears instead. "Or… y-you know, just me."

"how close was she to you?" Amber asked

Jasper had tears streaking down his face, pulling his glasses from off her nose. "Pretty… pretty close. Though she knew Lucas for longer." He mumbled, his blue eyes falling down as he traced the brim of his glasses. "It hurts to know she's actually gone though… it feels so surreal."

Amber looked over at Lucas with a sad expression

He was too busy comforting Kaylee, trying not to even think about it. He was fully numb, starring off in to nothing as he rubbed Kaylee's arm gently. Nothing was registering with him. "I don't know how he's going to take it. Right now, he's kind of… distant." Jasper whispered, sighing weakly.

She sighed " I don't think any of us can take it but how close were they" she asked

"Closer than siblings. Not romantically attracted, though." Jasper informed frowning at his friend that was sitting there alone. "We'll have to call the others, once they get back from Jane." He mumbled, crossing his arms over his chest. "Thomas isn't going to take it well, I assume."

" not at all" Amber mumbled

Nodding, his head twitched at the sound of three pairs of feet entering the room. Collins was still holding onto Lilly, with Brad trailing on behind. If anyone took the time to notice, Lilly had on the silver engagement ring on her right hand that she was holding on to Collins with. The three looked miserable, yet peaceful in a way.

She looked over at Lily and raised her eyebrows at the ring
