A scarce smile pulled up on her lips, and she shook her head. "Brad," Lilly said softly, pointing over to him. "It was Caroline's… he told us… she didn't make it." She responded weakly, Collins' grip tightening around her.

Amber shook her head "I'm sorry" she said

"It's alright Amber. Don't be. You didn't kill her," Lilly told her, pulling away from Collins before pulling Amber into a hug. "Sometimes you just have to move on."

"tell that to Lucas and Brad" she said

Lily sighed, pulling back just a bit from Amber. “Well, What now? What are we suppose to do from here?” She asked softly, looking around at the sullen faces of all her friends. “Anyone know what the next step is?”

"we carry on as she was never here" Amber said

After the news of Caroline's death spread around, weeks went by. Everyone seemed odd after the announcement was made. Even those who didn't really know, or care for her seemed oddly sullen. They were all finding it hard to believe death had come to knock on such a young girl's door.
By this point, the last few weeks of school seemed to fly by, leaving the parties for seniors to begin. Though Brad hadn't gone to a single one. He claimed he was over Caroline, yet that wasn't the case. As of the moment, he was in a heated argument with Thomas, Collins, and Jasper at the Tiger's bar. Which had been abandoned for the past few weeks since the group got back from Vegas.
"I thought you said you had moved on." Collins snapped a bit, getting frustrated. "That girl, PJ, seems really nice. You really hurt her." He continued, arms crossed over his chest.
"I know! So maybe I'm still having a hard time, can't I be given more than a month to heal?" Brad snapped back, tears breaking at his eyes. "I can't even mourn in peace, without one of you nagging me about it!"

Caroline was walking to her bar, yep she was alive she had a grey tank top on that showed of her stomach showing surgery scars she had a pair of blue skinny jeans on and white converse and her hair was curled now black having light blue, grey, white, red, pink, purple, and green streaks in it she had white glittery eyeshadow and dark winged eyeliner making her eyes pop she had applied lip gloss and had brads hoodie the first one he'd given her hanging off her fore arms

"This is getting ridiculous Brad. We've been dealing with you for over a month now, we shouldn't be having this conversation right now." Jasper snapped, slumped down in a chair as he pinched the bridge of his nose. He was quite annoyed, if it weren't obvious. Brad gritted his teeth, swiftly pushing up from his seat. Though not fast enough. Both Collins and Thomas were on their feet attempting to hold Brad back from Jasper.
"Shut up! You've got no right to say that! Shut up!" Brad growled at Jasper, giving up trying to choke hold him when the others wouldn't let him go. Pulling back, he tore his arms away from the others huffing out. "You need to go, and chill out." Collins muttered through gritted teeth. "This is not okay, let us know when you're not trying to kill us." Collins continued, lightly pushing on Brad.
With tight frustration, he whipped around and stormed off around the corner. Once no one could see or hear him, he leaned back against the wall before slipping down to the floor with hot tears running down his face.

Caroline was approaching the bar backpack slung over one of her shoulders she had hurt your buds in listening music and softly singing she missed everyone she missed brad and her sister and Lucas she tapped her white and black gel nails against her thighs as she turned the corner to the bar

"You'd think he would be over it by now." Collins sighed, slumping down in a spare chair, feeling rather defeated. "He's been stuck in the blues, causing no one to be able to live their lives. It's frustrating. I know he's upset, we all are. But this has got to stop." Turning his head to Thomas, he stopped talking as he watched him stare out the window of the bar. "What is it?" Jasper asked, pushing up out of his seat to grab a drink. "There's…. there's a girl, coming this way." Thomas whispered, seeming rather confused at why anyone would be coming down this street. They were all too scared of the tigers. "Maybe it's Maggie, or Kaylee?" Jasper offered, as if it were obvious. Though only recieved an eye roll from Thomas. "I'm pretty sure it's not either of them, I can see her. It doesn't look like anyone familiar."

Caroline puts the doors of the bar open walking inside giving the group a smile "suprize!" She said with a hand on her hip

The threesome paused what they were doing, glancing in between each other. They were confused, that much was certain. "Um… Miss? Can we help you?" Thomas asked softly, trying to be polite. Though it was rather difficult, because she looked so familiar. Collins stepped up to her, smiling softly. "I believe you might have the wrong address, this is the bar one of the local gangs used to hang around at." He insisted with her, trying to keep polite. Jasper on the other hand was just starring at her, trying to place her voice and face with someone else.

"are you guys don't remember me how sad I'll give you a hint I was in Vegas a month ago I got tased by cop a dumb one might I add and I died in the hospital" Caroline said

Collins laughed nervously, not seeming to want to process what she had just said. "Look, I really think you might have us confused for someone else." He insisted, attempting to lead her out. "I'm not quite sure how you know, or even found us, but I believe you're really at the wrong-" Jasper came over, pushing Collins out of the way just a bit as he reached out and lightly held her chin to study her face. "No… you're joking-" He whispered weakly, tears starting to prick at his eyes. Both of the other boys were still confused, glancing between themselves. "Oh my-" As soon as he placed her face and voice, tears started streaming down his face. He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead before pulling her into a tight hug.

" ow ow ow ow" she said wincing in pain "stitches surgery scar split open on my stomach" she said whimpering

Jasper yanked back at the sound of her pain, tears running down his face. "I-I'm sorry… I…." Jasper couldn't seem to breath, as he starred at her face. "There's no way- you… you can't be here." He insisted, still cupping both of her cheeks in his hands. Collins and Thomas stopped trying to sort this out, walking up on either side of her with shock written all over their faces.

"I'm alive I'm here I was dead but I don't know what happened I just kind of just snapped out of it you know so there I was laying in the hospital bed and suddenly I had a heartbeat I had a pulse my eyes opened they release me shortly after surgery but I was still in Vegas I don't have a ride you guys I taking my car so I had to work down there for a little while to get some money too pay for a ride and here I am" she said

Collins fumbled back, looking completely sick. His head was spinning, and his stomach was turning. Thomas couldn't believe it either, but as soon as Jasper stepped aside he pulled her into a loose hug. "You have no idea…. no idea what we've all been through." Thomas whispered, burying his face into her shoulder. "Especially- Oh god… Brad!" Pulling back, he took her hand and pulled her along around back. "He's been a wreck, I'm not sure he's going to believe this."
