Ok. So. I was sitting in my Science class which is my favorite class besides choir and drama, and the teacher is just sooo nice and I actually had a decent grade in it (92/100). We have 3 days left in school and only 1 of those days was a school day, the rest were exam days. So I was all sentimental about having this teacher, I will call him Mr.L, for the last time. For some reason he was 10 minutes late and the class was like ohhhkayyy. And then Mr.L comes in crying. And we are like oh no! What do we do?!? So he goes to the bathroom and cries for another 5 minutes and we feel sooo bad. Like soooo bad. We didn’t know what was wrong but we still felt bad. Our principle comes in and gets mad for leaving us to cry. He comes back and we are like are you ok? He said no but he was going to tough it out. By this point even the trouble makers stopped talking. It was bad. (This class is right after lunch) He didn’t come back the next day. It turns out that he was fired because a girl was taking a video of the class right when class started in a previous class. and in the video you can clearly see him asking the girl to put her phone away. She does after a moment but it still got him fired and I am sooooooo mad. 3 days. Could my school not wait 3 days?!? Ugh!!!! 7th grade!!!!

I'm my school there's only a few teachers that will actually take your phone away and even that's only if you actually have it out. The rest of them pretend not to notice or just make a face at you if it goes off or if they see you on it lol I dont think anyone's ever gotten fired cause of phones

@GameMaster group

I mean at my school you aren't even allowed to have your phone in the classroom. This has made some very funny moments in which students phones rang really loud in the middle of a quiet class.

@Mojack group

Phones are supposed to be banned at my school (actually in Ontario..) because of some fella who let’s just say I don’t like very much called Doug Ford. He is the premier of Ontario, where I happen to live as well.

The thing is phones are already banned but most teachers are already like “you can use your phone but please listen to the lesson”

He’s also done some things I don’t like, and not just me; but a lot of people I know. My family, friends, school, etc. Those things would be education cuts (there was a walkout for it in April), taking out certain things from the education system like LGBT-related education and not to mention he also canceled Canada day celebrations at Queen’s park, which is a yearly event since 1967 I believe.

There are a lot of things I don’t like about him.

@Fraust

So like, I'm still sick and it's getting worse and I accidentally lost weight. I'm now 85 pounds and I'm 5'2 and 15 and I need help

@Pickles group

That tends to happen when you're sick. All I can say is try to eat, drink water, and don't stress. Stress will make it worse

@Fraust

I'm not stressed, really, and I'm drinking a lot more than usual. I haven't eaten much substantial stuff though

Gay pride parades- I am cool with them, do I support being gay? No. It goes against my religion. Do I support the people? Yes! I don’t believe in it. Not a problem. Gay pride parades? Go ahead. We had one. I say one straight pride parade. Is that this a bad thing I ask you? No. It got a HUGE crowd of protestors. If being gay and having a parade about it is normal, can’t straight pride parades be normal too? Is it illegal to proudly say you are straight? I want to know the problem with this!?!

@hollow-boned

(id respond to the rant above but i'm too tired for that)

my friend got me a ring for my birthday and it was so pretty and i havent even had it for a whole month and i wore it to grad today and on the way home i realized it's gone and i dont even remember taking it off???????????? i'm. so fucking upset i've been crying for a while and i just. it's. she got it for me. i havent even had it for 20 days i dsknaged god im so mad

@hyunjins-eyemole

Oh no!!!!! I know what that’s like! My Bff got me the most beautiful necklace once and I took it off for my ballet class and put it on a shelf and after ballet class it was gone! I hope you find it!

@Trix

Okay, just before you read this, I'm not trying to be rude or anything. Just explaining stuff.
There is no religion, at least that I know of, that states being straight is an abomination. There is no such thing, as 'coming out' as straight. If you are straight, you rarely have reason to hide. The word 'straight' is not tossed around as an insult. It's not something people will single you out for, disown their child for, break relationships for. Do you realize, that at the end of every almost every LGBTQ+ parade, there are at least a couple of protesters screaming about the sins and wrongness of having a sexuality that's different from the norm?
It's pride month. People are celebrating part of their identity, not only accepting others but also themselves. The parade represents the community and their pride of it. Because there are many people out there who spit upon such. A pride parade probably would not be as common, nor necessary, if people weren't shunned and taught that not being straight was a sin.
Of course, you have a point. You're allowed to state your opinion. It's not illegal to proudly say you're straight. But people aren't bullying you for your sexuality, are they? The parade represents and symbolizes an idea of acceptance, that is needed for the community.
