Oh my goodness, I’m so sorry, that’s horrible. I can’t imagine the kind of stress that must have caused, for both you and her. Praying that everything turns out all right 🙏🏻

Thanks ❤️ I got to go see her a little while ago and she seems to be doing alright. The vet seems to be pretty happy with how her recovery has gone so far. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that things continue to go that way.

A couple hours ago I said I was pumped for all the stuff happening. But now its settled in that I'm going to leave for a week without my parents and I'm doing the last of my first college class and I'm finishing driving school in a week and I suddenly am like "I'm adulting" and IDK how to feel about it. I'm kinda freaking out right now

it's very clear that neither of us want to keep talking, but she keeps asking questions
ma'am I know you don't care about what my favorite tv show is, you don't have to keep being polite

Great, now she wants to know why I don't like loud noises. Do I leave out the trauma and just say anxiety or should I go for a double whammy?

"Sensory issues and a little bit of ✨trauma lmfao"
"Ah okay. I understand:)"
What..does this mean?

That looks like a normal, caring response to me.
Like she was neutral about the information (ah okay, those are things people deal with) confirmed she understands you (I understand those things are something you specifically deal with, and will apply that to our living situation) and a smiley face to make it non-threatening. It's chill.

Thinking about how a picture book about gay penguins was the fourth most banned book between between 2000 and 2009

Instead of saying "wow, it's so hot in here" start thinking about "hey, it's really really cold!" instead. I know it's not cold, but tricking your brain does work. Or maybe you could keep your mind on something else?

I've just set up a portable fan in the bedroom so the real solution is just to hang out there mostly until it's fixed. I was also about to go get an ice coffee but apparently the place I wanted to go is closed already >:(
Like bro….. you close at 4 pm?

Love it when people say that horse back riding isn't a sport because the horse does all the work. The implication that the horse memorizes the jump courses is so funny to me. Like, I wish my horse could memorize courses because god knows I can't.
