Any time I start a story with "one time when I was on a mission trip", it's guaranteed to be fairly weird and/or chaotic

And I'm here for it
I've really only been on one and it was very chaotic

I've done three big-ish ones and a lot of smaller ones (like hour-long types)
One time when I was on a mission trip I had to weed a prairie

We've done some volunteering, but that's not usually chaotic. I went on a weekend long one and so much stuff happened

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

I can live with y'all but only if I have a lot of Me Space(tm)

y'all don't wanna deal with me, and with all due respect, I don't wanna deal with y'all

Yeah I feel like our personalities and beliefs would not do well under the same roof. We'd viciously murder each other two weeks in there's also me freaking out when you mention ..problems and I hate not knowing how to help

honestly? I feel like we're afraid of the same things: Missing out and being forgotten.
and I think we'd both get caught up in that and it'd be no bueno
and our personalities are similar yet different and it wouldn't be good

the only reason I want roomate(s) is so that I have someone to make sure I don't kill myself

I'm bad at talking to people about that and I'm terrified that one day I'll be the only one there to talk to one of my friends and it won't be enough

Same with me. I usually stay quiet because I don't know what to say and I don't want to make anything worse.

i was going to list that in my reasons but i didn’t want people to worry about me again…

I WANNA LIVE WITH YOU GUYS!

I like pasta, i can't clean for shit but i can bake (sometimes? if i have a recipe) and…uh…i like music? and reading? and i'd be pretty quiet and not a wildchild? (I'm an INTP, so uh. No wildchildren here)

I'm slowly teaching myself how to bake
My muffins turned out dry but pretty good
My cake was an abomination straight from hell, but to be fair I wasn't really the one who made it, I mostly watched and offered advice

The cake mix was also expired
I'm a decent cook and baker, and it's fun. I make a mean baked mac and cheese.

I can make brownies and cookies! And…I know how to follow recipes pretty well, so that's a plus i guess?

Yeah, I guess I didn't have much of a chance with something 7 months expired that smelled like a dentist's office

box mix or scratch

…..box mix

milk instead of water, butter instead of oil(and don't be afraid to add a bit extra) and an extra egg. some box mixes don't require some of these but generally it works

anything vanilla, add a splash of vanilla extract. chocolate, do cocoa powder or a teeny bit of hot cocoa powder, and ALWAYS add salt to the box mix i'm serious it make a Difference

I used some almond extract (it was a raspberry jiffy boxed mix) and that was good

I…
cannot say the same

I know. We'd be terrible roommates, tbh

"goodmorning ice. sorry I woke you up with eminem again."

i'm glad to be of service. this advice comes from years of almost bad experiments that turned out way better than they should have

i've never actually used almond extract? it's not a thing my family owns cause we really don't get more than what we use but i want to make almond cherry cupcakes at some point

I'm not a fucking morning person, I would probably scream at you and then go back to bed
probably somewhere along the lines of "turn that fucking shit off before i destroy something"

Honestly weird extracts are the shit
You need something quick and fun for a summer bbq or 4th of July event?
Make white chocolate fudge and mix in some root beer extract, BAM! Root beer float fudge. It's too sweet for most adults to enjoy more than a few bites, but kids love that stuff
For a more laid-back one, use orange instead of root beer

Adding different extracts to a recipe that calls for vanilla when we're out is a hobby of mine but it doesn't usually turn out well
There's a reason it says "1/4 tsp vanilla extract" and not "a splash of every extract in the house"
