Something I find ironic about the education system is that everyone complains about lack of teacher pay but no one wants higher taxes.

Because we all hate being taxed to death. Especially if it's to receive government benefits that are mediocre at best.

To many schools (and sports stuff) are being shut down for a virus that isn’t that deadly, people are making a big deal about something so small and kids could be delayed from graduating

Hi. The flu has a .1% death rate, and corona's death rate went from 2% to 6% in less than a month (it's going to keep growing as we get more information and it spreads. It's been around since December, but we didn't know about it until February, and China isn't letting any information out.). We don't really know anything about it, and there's no vaccine, which makes it even worse. If schools are shutting down, it means that they think it's serious. Most schools are doing online classes as to not delay graduation.
