I can't think of any ideas, but I do have something to ask. Do you think that the prejudice against Muslims are no true? Just wondering what everyone thinks.

@Oakie Dokie

it is extremely true. I may be a bit biased on this because my gf is muslim but it is truly something that gets on my nerves. Everyone looks at her like she's a freak and she's a wonderful person, and even on our date this past weekend they almost didn't let her into the theatre, they had a cop come by and "check her out." this is absolutely wrong and it gets on my nerves.

Lydia

I agree. It is awful. One of my best friends is Muslim and she is THE KINDEST person I've ever known. People are just disgusting. Someone pulled off her hijab during school because "it was a disgrace to america" and "she should go back to her terrorist country." It's just so sad what everyone is doing. It makes me sick.

Very much so! And it's stupid, because these people are wasting their time attacking innocent people, claiming that they're doing good when we know that they're not. But they could use this timw to hunt down actual terrorists.

shurikenwolfbadass_13

All of this terrorism bull, for something that happened so long ago. Luckily at my school, nobody cared about your religion. You weren't a target, you were a person, and nobody had it out for you!

@Masterkey

Yeah it definitely is true, depending on where you live. (At least where I live it's much better. I think a majority of the people around here are people of color, especially from India.) But I don't think that kind of religious discrimination within our nation is the same as the travel ban from certain nations (and both Obama and Trump said it'd be only temporary so that we can fix our immigration system, but that will take freaking forever. XD Our immigration system is messed up. But I guess you gotta start somewhere… if the Trump administration is actually doing anything… sigh).

@Masterkey

Except, just 15 miles away from where I live now, there seems to be a bigger white population… I had a best friend growing up in that area who was Muslim, and she said while she made friends easily, there were still people that made fun of her. It's sad.

Lydia

There will always be discrimination about one group or another. It's just so sad what this world has come to. I wish that people would just stop with the stereotypes and learn who people actually are. I just don't like all of the hate that is in this world today.

@Masterkey

But I think we have a lot to celebrate about in recent years in comparison to the rest of human history. People can take hope in that. :)
