I love to read and write! I recently went through a slow change after going through college, basically of becoming a lover of all things philosophy. My major was very philosophy-heavy, and learning about it has blown my mind and changed the way I think and see the world forever. I'm excited to bring this passion of mine into my storytelling, since I believe storytelling is one of the best vehicles for getting straight to people's hearts. :)
Reading, writing, philosophy, martial arts, hiking, drawing, all things liberal arts, and very fascinated by all things science. Basically I have too many interests and fill my brain with too much info and need to take time to relax and breathe more, haha!
None, but I can tell you my least favorite genres if you ask.
Till We Have Faces by CS Lewis
I don't have one, but might as well keep the train going with Till We Have Faces: "Lightly men talk of saying what they mean. Often when he was teaching me to write in Greek the Fox would say, “Child, to say the very thing you really mean, the whole of it, nothing more or less or other than what you really mean; that’s the whole art and joy of words.” A glib saying. When the time comes to you at which you will be forced at last to utter the speech which has lain at the center of your soul for years, which you have, all that time, idiot-like, been saying over and over, you'll not talk about the joy of words. I saw well why the gods do not speak to us openly, nor let us answer. Till that word can be dug out of us, why should they hear the babble that we think we mean? How can they meet us face to face till we have faces?”
