If you live close to Fishers, IN, USA, Conner Prairie is a history-themed, living, outdoors museum. There are historical settlements and you make a historically accurate costume (or have someone else make it) and basically arrive for work everyday pretending to live in the houses or doing work or something - my character, Agnes Rothentrop, is an orphan who works at an Inn. Or you can work in uniform and do third-person interpreting. It's pretty fun.
But I've always wanted to do something like a Renaissance Fair.

@bubblegum

Me as well, I assisted in making my 1836 dress and I recently bought a civil-war era dress for that area of the museum.

ARE YOU CHALLENGING A HOOSIER TO WEATHER
PLEASE
IN ORDER:
Monday: Sunny and warm.
Tuesday: The power goes out due to intense wind and rain.
Wednesday: Excessively foggy. Cannot see a single thing. Comes close to snowing.
Thursday: Sunny again, very warm
Friday: Thunderclouds, and cold, but no storm
Saturday: Clear sky with drizzles and chilly breezes.
Sunday: idk but it'll probably either snow or drought

@bubblegum

I mean, since I'm used to wearing either
a) t-shirt and short shorts with no socks or
b) a cotton dress with a petticoat for conner prairie so basically sweatpants and sweatshirt
there's no inbetween so I go out in either one and am absolutely fine either way

@ravens

People constantly assuming that you're too young. I'm told frequently I look three years younger than I am, and it's taken a long time for some people to realize I'm old enough to do independent things.
Trying to fit into the social norm and be like everyone else.

lol people always assume I'm older than I actually am
this is a little different bc it's not appearance-related but anyway I posted a question on tumblr asking people how old they think I am and someone said something like "between 17 and 23, I'd say maybe a solid 19" and
I'm 13
